My previous modem was experiencing frequent signal drops which required frequent resets. I've had no issues with this one. Another plus is that it supports gigabit speeds. So if I decide to upgrade my internet package, I'll be covered. Definitely a better deal than paying a monthly fee to my internet provider.

I have recently purchased this modem in-store. I did a long research before purchasing this modem. Overall it's a solid modem and comes with everything you need in the box and handels my network configuration very well (+15 devices). Even though it was out of my budget range, i still think it is a good investment to avoid rental fees and since this model is not using the Intel Puma Chipset it will last longer unlike Arris or Netgear series.

I just updated my 6 year old modem and replaced it with this one. I also upgraded to gig speed internet and I have not been disappointed! I have not had WiFi drops like I did before and the internet is incredibly fast. I would recommend this modem to anyone who has gig speed internet. Set up was also a breeze!

Very good reliable product at a reasonable price. No brainer easy set up and execution with my cable company. I highly recommend this product for anyone who wants to replace the modem from their cable company. I used my birthday certificate from Best Buy to help purchase this modem. I will pay for the modem in savings within seven months. Additionally, my Wi-Fi upload and download speeds are approximately 30% faster than they were with my cable company modem.

Sudden Link subscriber in DFW metroplex. Have 1gig svc. Lately speeds have been declining and they kept telling me there was an outage in my area. Had the Arris CM3200 (the one with the known chipset issues) and they wouldn't replace it, so I took it upon myself. Activation/provisioning went far smoother than I thought it would, even with the 45 minute callback, or lack thereof (lol); I finally called them and it took all of 5 min. 200' from my router and using my cell, I now have 3x d/l, 2x better pings; and connecting the laptop directly to the modem FINALLY yields the bandwidth I was quoted all along. Yay! Go Motorola!!! Fwiw sudden does NOT use docsis 3.1 yet, but my service level requires at least docsis 3.0 and this modem handles that beautifully- and is future proofed a bit.

Has worked very well since it was purchased in 2020. Still going providing us very fast connectivity with Xfinity. We use it primarily for work and streaming services or 5-8 devices.

I was having trouble finding the right setup for my gigabyte wifi. I tried everything netgear no luck. So i bought this modem with the TP Link axe7800 WOW i get about 850 mbps to 975 mbps through out my whole house. I gave up on netgear. So i hope this helps somebody out and oh yea i have xfinity wifi. But give this a try because i think i tried everything else.

Motorola makes some of the best cable modems out there in my opinion. An upgrade in internet service required the upgraded modem. Setup is a breeze, and within moments I had close to gigabit speed internet, which isn't bad for my area. Very pleased.

Next tier technology for personal use. Not surprised it was back ordered for weeks. Fair warning; prepare to spend a lot of time on the phone with cable companies; Nothing is ever done correctly the first time around with third party modems.

Comcast had been pinging us to replace our modem and we purchased this Motorola MB8600. The first one was disconnecting, but Best Buy replaced it and the new one has been working well. It took less than 15 minutes to get connected with our Comcast account. Make sure you have all of your acct #'s and passwords, act set to receive text messages and your install should be pretty easy...

I am using this cable modem in combination a NightHawk AC2300 and 3 eero beacons. Things have been working excellently. Coming from a SBG6580 combo. I wanted flexibility to choose a router. And, most importantly, I wanted to get the speed I was paying for. The 6580 would not meet that 'want.' Called my provider, the modem was seen and activated. Very easy setup. The cable modem certainly has delivered. We have had no difficulties with speed and coverage.

Solid modem, has the future capabilities of DOCSIS 3.1, decent error log interface (ISP provided modem not surprisingly didn't have anything), and does have the spectrum analyzer, which helps with verifying problems and proving it to your ISP when they're being dumb.

Wanted to jettison the COX panoramic modem/router and associated monthly fees. I tried another brands modem/router combo but it was no up to the task. I desided to go the seperates route and this modem was the trick. It took 5 minutes for COX to activate it. I'm getting better wired down and upload speeds too ! Just a side note on getting separate modem and router. When you have a combo unit it is nice that its all in one device but the problem is you are not in full control of the router portion and any firmware updates HAVE to come from your ISP. With separate units for each, only the modem is tied to your ISP and you will have FULL control of your router and can do updates at will when they are available on your own.
