We really needed a new modem and we were able to find this jen that was both a router and a modem was a find. Our internet really sucked before our purchase. Now it works like a charm. Initially I thought it was a little expensive, but now I think it was so worth it. Very happy with our purchase.

Got this as an upgrade from my MG7700. After using it for 6 months now I can honestly say that I am going to re-install my old 7700. The 8702 has actually caused constant frustration. In no way the upgrade that I thought it would be. Slow, choppy, weak signal, and constant resets.

Its good for inside your home but doesnt receive good singal once your outside your home. It could be my location but thats what im experiencing.

working great a little trouble setting up had to have xfinity help getting it into there system but works great we dont have alot on the system but have had two computers 2 phones and a lap top all working the same time with out a problem

After searching many simular products, I chose this one because its speed ability, and 3.1, supported by my internet provider, at a more reasonable cost than some. It has performed great so far, and my down load speeds have been better than the older 3.0 that I had.

I purchased this modem/router because it was a Motorola. I started having problems with it not broadcasting in both 2.4 n 5G. Suddenly, all of my devices that needed 2.4mhz could not communicate with the Motorola router. That's when I realized that the device was only broadcasting wifi in 5G. I tried calling Motorola to no avail. I was told they no longer supported their routers and modems.

bought this to replace spectrum equipment, wow what a difference, in speed and consistency, good product. save on monthly rental fees. Set up all online didn't have to call which was awesome..

My set up was a modem and router not a combo so when looking over wanting to get more speed so i noticed this was what i was looking for since it was a 2 in 1 and it was my best decision

My spectrum internet was getting slower and slower. The equipment I was using was about 7 years old so I decided to try a new modem/router combo. The increased speed was amazing and I saved $5 per month on the leased equipment.

Purchased as a replacement for an outdated Xfinity Modem/router. After having multiple complaints from members of the household about wifi disconnecting and an abundance of issues with netflix connection, I did some light research and purchased this model(due to the amount of devices). So far only two problems with my printer disconnecting and my laptop but I've since solved the issues. Great WiFi signal even outside on opposite side of house (router is in basement). The companion app took some time setting up but I was able to connect using the included cable and within 20 minutes it was running. The companion app (Minim) allows for easy control over your network and allows you to easily change settings from your phone.

Never again will I rent a modem and router from the cable companies! This device works great, is easy to use, and is super easy to install and manage. My wifi is noticeably faster since switching over. It's an investment, but it's worth it!

I have had this Modem Router combo for almost a week no problems. Easy to setup, i have Comcast and had no problems. Recommend you get Xfinity app to setup modem. Don't have to talk to anyone and was up and working within 20 min, maybe less.

Powerful Modem + Router. Covers my 3-story condo and outdoor area. Super easy to setup by yourself (along with your service provider). Note: I contacted Motorola to change the WiFi password.

kickass modem/router if you have gigabit internet and don't want to pay the endless monthly router rental fees. will pay for itself in 18months of service with mediacom gigabit.

Purchased this for the wide range capability. We have a single level long home, and my home office is at the far side. This reaches far enough to allow me To work remotely with no issues! Must have for remote agents!

I'm not much of a tech person. But it was easy hooking up and so far I like the Motorola Cable Modem Router. Fast speed. I only wish there were more Internet companies to choose from.

After a bad experience with another brand’s modem, I gave this Motorola unit a try. Super easy to setup. I was up and running in just 5 minutes. The app makes setup easy too

Have had this for 2 weeks. Love the speed and the control. We have 17 devices from cameras, computers and more. Allows me to track time and control devices from anywhere.

Much better than our previous Netgear. Works consistently and we've had no glitches requiring a reboot or reconnect. We have three TVs and phones connected and have no streaming issues.
