Here we are in June 2023 and the modem/router does not work. I was working from my home office today and all of a sudden the internet goes out. This happens occasionally, so I went to check the the modem/router and there were no lights on at all. I have tried plugging it into multiple sockets and it still refuses to work. I even used a different plug and it refused to work. The thing is completely dead after two years. While this lasted longer than some of the others whose died in a few months, who wants to buy a new modem/router every two years? Not me! Motorola lost a customer. I will never buy another Motorola product ever again.

Excellent Modem with Subpar Wifi performance.

Wifi is disappointing as soon as the next room over.. In a 1200 sqft apt, I am pulling a 3rd of the speeds of ethernet in the room on the other side of the house. Really was expecting better wifi performance. In short, great product for ethernet and wifi, if you are in the same room as the device.

This unit more than doubled the download speed and eliminated buffering problems I was having. No problems with the set up except the older technology on my electronic doorbell is not compatable with this unit and now rendered useless to me. I suggest that you check the compatability of this unit with all of your existing Wifi electronics before purchasing.
