great product ,great range and strength, setting up is a breeze.

My previous Motorola combo cable modem Wi-Fi router had a mother board burn out. Had it for at least 10 years and it worked well. So I needed a new combo unit and headed to Best Buy and preferred to buy another Motorola combo device. Heard mixed positions on combo units but the reviews on this unit convinced me to buy. Brought it home and it was easy to set up. Needed to call my cable company to get it activated but that was the most time consuming part. The units network SSID and password are straight forward and easy to use and remember. Best news is, the reviews were spot on. This combo unit works great in my 3,000 square foot home. I get great signal strength everywhere and even better, my download speed doubled. Yes doubled. I now get exactly what I pay for from my cable company, both download and upload speeds. Even my Smart TV works much better...So don't fall for the combo units are bad and to stay away. Not so. This Motorola unit works great. Great speed, easy to set up and worth every penny. Very happy with this purchase.

this review is for 'MG8702 Cable Modem WiFi'. purchased Jan2023, to active WOW ISP. installed modem, activated thru wow, no issues, up 100%. a few years back i had the 'Motorola MG7310' but the MAC filtering wasn't very good. the filtering on the 8702 is much better, making it easier to secure the WiFi SSID. the only downer is this thing ain't cheap!

Easy to setup. Very fast modem, depending on traffic. Very fast router. The cable guy who set it up with xfinity was impressed with the specs and ease of connection. The app isn't that bad either. Could use alot more controls after setup, like Netgear's.

This cable modem/router combo was easy to install and working with my provider services. Everything seems to be working perfectly so far (no complaints expected) and of course there is the added benefit of owning your equipment versus paying any monthly “rental” fees (which is always the way to go in my opinion).

Promptly shipped/received. Super easy setup, quickly registered w/Spectrum on-line. Unit up and running in 10 min. My download speeds are 10x previous modem/router.

Motorola always puts out the best cable modems around and this keeps up that proud tradition! My internet plan with Spectrum includes one of their cable modems with no rental costs to me. However, it does leave a lot to desire. There is only one ethernet output on that one where this Motorola model has 4 on the back which to me is a must. I directly connect my TV, AppleTV, and wireless camera base station via ethernet. My solution before was to buy a switch to run from the Spectrum modem all these things we as the latest Google Wi-Fi for wireless duties. Speeds are about the same from both this modem and the Spectrum one (I have a 400 plan). The difference for me is the stability of my internet connection and built in Wi-Fi thus enabling me to unplug two different devices (the switch and Wi-Fi router). The Wi-Fi from this modem is just about on par with my Google Wi-Fi router and range is about the same. I'm happy with it and I'm rather picky when it comes to my tech.

The modem is easy to set up used the xfinity app with mo problem. Modem was found and installed. The wireless connectivity is good I need to locate a better placement as I currently have it in a media cabinet and the connection drops easily so I need to place it up high hopefully where the wife won't mind it. The app to use with the router i am still playing with it as it shows me the exact web pages visited and times I can configure a separate network within the app with the router which is nice. I like the land ports so the ps5 TV and the mesh I have are connected to those and I have no issues with anything. This is a good modem and the time i have been using it i have had no problems

Easy to set up and a must have for a modem / router combo to replace paying a monthly service to rent your internet provider’s equipment.

Well i purchased the Motorola 3N1 modem, router and Wi-Fi for its power and versatility. We have 5 TVs, 2 PCs, 4 Alexa's 2 cell phones. After my internet provider Xfinity hooked it all up to the internet all has been working smoothly. Streaming is great. I highly recommend my Motorola 3n1 modem works extremely well!!!

The setup was easy in general. The app to use with it is not so necessary.

Fantastic over the junk Cox tries to rent you. We had daily drops with the Cox provided box and have not had one drop in the wifi / internet signal
