Don't Purchase regardless of Store recommendations

We replaced it 2022 simply on recommendation at the store to provide more speed. Exactly 1 yr 3 mos, the wifi no longer works. the manufacturer warranty is only for 1 yr, and Best buy is 15 days. Completely unaware of that. The only way to replace is to purchase another. I accessed the chat, and the agent stated "the store team will help you with replacement for you". This router was just shy of $300, and they want me to purchase another one. Unbelievable. The one I bought was probably refurbished to begin with. I have purchased a ton of products from Best Buy over the years, including at least 7 TV's. So Disappointed

Wonderful modem/router device

I have an old router (a different brand) and doesn't update its security that much so I bought this product and I love it very much. It's fast and its blinking lights indicting you're online. When not online, it stops blinking. I'm very happy with my purchase and Motorola.

Greater speeds with latest technology(Docsis 3.1)

Very good option if you want to take advantage of high cable speed plans with cox

Poor WiFi coverage

This MG8702 was placed in the same spot where my Arris modem/router (2nd floor) was placed and I'm getting poor signal on the third floow

However there is no Console Manager Setting up instruction. Not even the support website. I have to call Motorola to get the help.
