Easy to set up, works better than the router that we was renting

It works and saves me the rental fee from Xfinity but I’ve noticed frequent internet disconnects. I get messages that Alexa or some other app is not connected to the internet then it corrects itself. A little frustrating at times; I’ll have to review the settings to see if it has something to do with that.

Works well. Saving me some money in the long run.

I bought this product to replace a like item I was renting from a local cable company. The money I will save in owning my own equipment makes this purchase a very good value. I have only had this product for about a month but its performance at this point has been excellent. Installation was a snap!

This modem was one of only a few that I found with all the things I needed: Xfinity approved, Modem, Router, & Phone jack , and on sale. The salesman at Best Buy confirmed it should cover my home space, so I purchased it. The Geek Squad installed it & made sure all wifi devices worked & so far,so good.

Bought as a replacement for the rented Xfinity gateway. Set up was pretty straightforward. Have had to restart due to lost WiFi only a handful of times. Speed is good but honestly i only get up to 400 mbps of my paid 600 down. 20 up. Still highly recommend.

Got this to replace the Xfinity gateway. I figured buying this for 200 was better that renting xfinity’s unit for 336 every two years. Setup was super easy, both getting it to work with xfinity and setting up the wifi. One minor loss was I no longer have the caller ID show up my tv but figuring this will pay for itself in less than 15 months I love with it. Wifi is excellent, sometime we have as many as 9 devices using the wifi and nobody has complained about bandwidth yet.

We bought this device to allow two phone lines. We subscribe to Comcast/Xfinity. They provided their super dooper latest modem router when we renewed in February, and I was not able to get FAXes or port forward to some security DVRs to allow internet access to remote viewers. Furthermore, their modem crashed on a regular basis. After three replacements we gave up. So, besides being unreliable, after dealing with their techies, they are limiting flexibility to push their own products. The device we purchased appears to be an older version of the router/modem that Comcast provided a few years back. It allows port forwarding and an extensive menu to customize its use and we can now FAX from the telephone. The advantage is compatability with Xfinity/Comcast and telephone. My only gripe is limited WiFI Range. We have a 300mbps plan from Comcast and I'm getting 70 at the router. Any distance from the router and I get 25-30 mbps, this is with an extender located about 30 ft from the device.

I got tired of paying Comcast's rental fees, so I just bit the bullet and bought this. Speed and coverage are more than sufficient, and it was dead simple to set up. Just connected to cable line, plugged in and I was up and running within 15 minutes. Didn't even have to call Comcast.

simple and easy installation, a vast improvement over my last setup. speed and range seem great so far with my current service. i have no complaints to date about this purchase.

This purchase replaced a previously owned nearly identical model which performed excellently for many years. I tried another brand initially which was not functional as soon as I hooked it up. This one installed easily and has performed perfectly. I expect to get many useful years from it.

Good product, really good price, reliable ,easy to install

Fast! It took me a minute to set it up and another to connect it to xfinity. I now have between 145-180 mbps speed without any interruptions. Definitely recommend this product. Also it was very easy to change the WiFi name to match my other.

I was regularly losing my internet connection with my old modem and so I decided to buy The Motorola Dual Band Router with Cable Modem. It was easy to setup and the price was a good value compared to other models on the market. Since I switched to this model my, I have not lost my internet connection.

I purchased this for my mom so she could stop renting a modem from Comcast. Very easy to set up and took minutes on Comcast’s end to set it up. Better speeds then the modem Comcast provides. Space saving too as you don’t need a separate modem and router. Next time I need a modem I’ll go this route too.
