Fast! It took me a minute to set it up and another to connect it to xfinity. I now have between 145-180 mbps speed without any interruptions. Definitely recommend this product. Also it was very easy to change the WiFi name to match my other.

The old modem was starting to have problems. Was advised by Comcast to get a new modem. Best buy knew just what model I needed. A bit pricey but better then renting one from Comcast. Was easy to install. Easy to register with Comcast. Works very well. No more of the dropping off line several times a day.

Purchased date Dec 3 2019 The Motorola-dual-band AC1900 router is just what my family needed. It was very easy to setup & compatible with my cable company. We are also going to be saving a lot on our cable bill. Thanks V.M.

I bought this after purchasing Xfinity phone services. Installation took me under 10 minutes, plus it's as simple as plugging the phone jack from the phone base into the router! Great product with excellent speed so far!

I’ve had this for a little over a month and it’s been working Ok. I followed the instructions on Xfinity website and the installation/set up were easy. I’ll update it again to a 5 stars after 6 months of using. It’s price is high, btw.

This modem works great. It was very easy to install. I no longer have to pay the cable company $14 per month for a modem rental. It is actually faster than the modem the cable company provided. Very pleased with the product. Great value.

I’ve had this device for about two weeks and am happy with the purchase due to its faster than my old dual band Motorola. I know separates can be faster but I’m looking for convenience of not using the extra space. The 5G speed works great with our phones, iPad and laptop. I don’t have any complaints about this product but I wish they had a small fan installed so it would last longer. My last Motorola only lasted two years before the heat got to it and it was out in the open. This one seems to run a little cooler but I have one of those cheap Chinese indoor bug zappers that uses a 4mm fan. I set it close to the unit and it blows a nice gentle breeze across the hot internal electronics of the unit and cools it down quite considerably.

Bought this to use with Xfinity Internet last year, and it's been rock-solid. Lightning-fast speed and very reliable. Wi-fi has been fantastic for all my devices as well.

Great modem/router combo. The router has good range and it holds up to allow for good gaming experience. My PC is on the second floor with a wireless adapter and it receives very good signal.

Bought to replace the modem/router rented through Comcast as I still utilize a land line phone. This unit is fast (no more buffering when streaming) and set up was easy. Only negative.....a bit pricey though similar in price to other retailers.

This is a great product! We have freed ourselves of monthly equipment rental fees and enabled our family to change DNS servers on our home network so we can have more control of our internet connection. If you are willing to put up with the initial headaches setting it up with the Comcast activation specialists in the Philippines who are not properly trained on activating customer-owned equipment , you will be very happy with this as a replacement for your Comcast-owned cable modem and router with built-in Xfinity Voice. The MAC addresses for this product have a different number of characters than Comcast-owned devices. This was confusing for the technicians I spoke with on the phone. Be prepared for a long phone conversation with very friendly but ill-trained staff. The technician will have to remotely activate both the Cable modem and the Xfinity Voice functions. These are separate processes, so be patient. Your patience will be rewarded once they finally activate both features. We purchased this router and cable modem combination for several reasons: 1) We wanted to save money over the long term by owning our own modem instead of paying Comcast $13 a month to use their equipment. 2) We wanted the ability to use a different DNS server on our network than what Comcast provides. You do not have this customization option on rented equipment. It was important to our family to be able to use an alternate DNS service that has built-in filters for objectionable content. Review guidelines preclude me from naming the particular free DNS service we use, but there are a few good ones out there. 3) We wanted to keep our Xfinity Voice service. If you do not already have Xfinity Voice, this product is not recommended as there may be other more suitable products for you.

I kept putting off the purchase of a router/modem figuring it would be too difficult for me to install. Instead I paid $14/month to my cable provider for their noisy, hot modem. I finally decided I'd had enough and purchased this Motorola unit. I am not an IT person so I was a little nervous about the installation. The last thing I wanted to do was mess up the family's internet connection. I read the directios--which were simple to understand--a few times to just make sure I knew what I needed to do. All I can say is that it was not that difficult and the installation when very smoothly. In 15 minutes our new router/modem was up and running and I was even able to keep the same password so all our devices seamlessly connected.

Just what I needed to replace the Xfinity modem, to keep paying 15 dollars a month for a modem. Support for this Modem is great they are ready to answer any questions you may have about the Motorola Modem

The modem was very easy to set up and it looks good too. The price is a little high but for the internet speed and the voice quality I am very pleased. I disabled the wifi, the house is set up with a Google Mesh system, so can't say too much about that.

I finally decided to get the internet telephone from xfinity, because they introduced an international plan for my wife to call home to New Zealand. I took their rental modem and already the fee went up from $10 to $13. I knew I had to get a modem to stop this bleeding of my wallet. I have always known that Motorola is a good company and makes phones and modems for other companies. I saw this modem and fell in love with its capabilities, ease of use and security. I know $200 may seem expensive, but it will pay for itself in our pleasure and money saved from not renting one.
