Removed from box , hooked it up and went to website, set it self up and turned on without a call to comcast, thank god because their automated system sucks, their router was hardwired about 109mbs and wireless 49mbs, out of box I got 209mbs and 213mbs wifi, that was until comcast sent the signal and slowed it down to match their old one, but it is worth saving $14 a month and it is faster and more reliable than theirs.

Works great with Xfinity and is an awesome modem. It will pay off for itself. No more monthly extra bills. No.problems so far.

Installation by geek squad worked out perfectly and with the help of the Woodbridge store manager purchased the correct modem

Quick set up... Fast and reliable speeds... Really took advantage bandwidth we were purchasing... Easy connect to all of our devices.

I wanted to save money on my cable bill so I decided to by my own modem instead of renting one from the cable company. Unfortunately I also have digital phone service with the cable company so I needed a modem with that capability. This Motorola modem was one of 2 modems I found that could handle the phone. As a bonus, the router is built in so I was able to do away with my stand alone router with no drop off in performance.

I like the unit for the price. It seems equivalent to the Xfinity unit it replaced AND I like the $15.00 monthly savings on my cable bill. The only issues I had was that the first Xfinity rep I got didn't know how to setup a modem. I called back and got a rep who knew what she was doing and she was able to get it activated. Another issue I had was that I had a wireless TV box in the bedroom it always worked fine with the Xfinity modem but with this unit not so well. I happened to have another wired TV box so I just switched it out.

This modem works really well and fast. Pretty easy to set up just needed some help from xfinity with the phone part

Straightforward to set up. Signal has been good. No problems so far. Saved on the rental fee for antiquated equipment from Comcast

Loved device gives great wifi in the home. Strong signal and speed.

The setup was very straight forward and easy plus the modem is fast. No longer paying a rental fee to Comcast / xfinity.

After purchasing a similar gateway at another competitor, I was very pleased with this purchase. The competitor store employees couldn't tell me much about what they were selling. I was able to work with a Best Buy employee that knew what she was talking about and I'm pleased this gateway works. A big plus was that I was able to set it up myself.

Lightning fast speeds. Great if you have multiple devices that use the wifi connection at home.

Excellent manual and excellent product. My last motorola lasted many years (is still going but I wanted to upgrade for speed). I bought an Arris based on tech guy at Best buy's recommendation, and that piece of crap wasted a day of my time as it wouldn't set up. I bought this one and had my network back up in half an hour, all programmed with my old name and passwords so all my devices worked!!

Stronger signal than the rental unit you get from your service provider. Easy to set up.

All good. As promised it works well. Buy it and get out of renting from comcast!
