Buy this Motorola modem and save $13+tax per month on your Comcast cable bill. There will be some frustration with installation, but Motorola & Comcast support are a phone call away. Before starting installation, read the installation instructions, take a picture of the bottom of the modem or write down the serial number, IP address, username, password, CM MAC number, MTA MAC number, Wireless network name (SSID), etc. from the bottom of the modem plus note your wi-fi network username & password, etc because Motorola and Comcast support will ask you for this information. The modem handles 2.4G as well as 5G radio frequency bands. One negative is the WPS button is a tiny button on the bottom back side of the modem, unlike the easy to push WPS button on the top of the Comcast modem that you pay $13 per month to rent.

Was a bit difficult to set up, but was able to get it set and working.

Fast and easy setup, great speed. Highly recommend this if you need a modem/router for home.

This modem plus router all in one is far better than the seprate router and modem setup that I had previous, even though the cost is about the same. The phone is much clearer and the coverage is far better, I don't need the extender-booster anymore the speed is better also.

Needed to work from home because of Coronavirus. Quick easy set up and works great.

Product was easy to setup. No issues. WiFi works great.

Setup was not as easy as I had hoped as I had to call Comcast to activate. Performance is as good as Gateway from Comcast. I have not changed setting yet but looking foreword to doing so. I did explore the setup and find more settings and adjustments than I would ever need. I have used this for almost a month and had to reset one time as my phone lost dial tone, but Comcast's did as well.

well built, installation was easy, only problem I had was with Comcast and getting it activated, HINT: when you speak to Comcast for activation, make DOUBLE sure they input the code number of the modem AND you correct phone number if you have Voice service also. Saves you a lot of headaches and delays

I found this to be a simple swap out for the original Comcast/Xfinity supplied cable modem I had been paying a monthly fee for. I probably should have done this a few years ago. Swapping this in is not a big technology jump.

Excellent signal strength and speed capabilities. Beats paying monthly rental fees!

We finally had the opportunity to get faster internet service. So I elected to buy an Xfinity approved modem/router rather than rent one. The installer had us going in minutes. Online for a month so far and 100% trouble-free.

Works great!! Works great with Comcast devices and saves me $14.99 a month.
