It’s pretty easy to setup and works great ...the only issue I had was 5ghz was detected only on few devices

Absolutely love this device. Xfinity's routers no longer worked for whatever reason and was forced to find a solution. Purchased this router, setup was simple, and it was able to reach spots that were previously dead with the use of Xfinity routers. Best decision made, and no more monthly rental fees for horrible service.

I returned this product and purchased the Netgear C7100v. The Motorola MT7711 seemed like a nice product - setup was easy and quickly was on Xfinity's phone and internet systems. The problem I had was that the speed both when connected to the router via ethernet or via wifi was erratic. It was fast and slow erraticly. Even had Xfinity come out as I thought I had a problem at home. Eventually returned product and purchased the Netgear. It instantly worked better. My connection speed was fast and constant. Maybe I had a defective Motorola unit as it has lots of good reviews, but for me it didn't work. I am happy with the Netgear.

Works great for internet price was ok and easy to set up

Recently went from AT&T U verse to Xfinity. AT&T gives you a free modem however Xfinity does not. Rather than paying a monthly rental I purchased this Motorola router with modem. So now over the term of my contract this purchase will actually pay for itself and then end up saving me money. It’s a win-win.

definitely didn't plug and play....dont bother calling motorola for help....never answered after over an hour of waiting on hold they messaged in and disconnected and said call at another time. No problems since getting hooked up....been dependable in the weeks since

This is probably the best modem that is compatible with Comcast Xfinity and has voice for a landline. Not as easy to install as it claims in the instructions, and I had to get on the phone with Xfinity to get it going. Have had it up for about three weeks now and very happy with it, and not to have to pay $14/month to Xfinity to rent theirs.

Easy to set up and easy to follow instructions. I did not have to call comcast. After following box and online instructions, I was connected to internet. I only gave 4 stars because I lose wifi on my cell phone and I have to re-connect manually and sometimes after entering my password to connect, it says it is the wrong password and I have to re-enter it a few times before it connects. I would still recommend this product.

i went in to check on having the cable tv lines hidden in the wall for two different TV's and also to buy a new modem router. I got set up with the total geek package and they came within a few days, hooked up the modem/router and fixed three TV's wires so they don't show. They were amazing!

bought this to save on the $13 a month fee from Comcast; takes about 15 or 16 months to pay for itself in savings vs. rental fee; but it was the principle of not having to pay anymore on that expensive cable bill; performance is good - sometimes the VOIP drops calls but other than that cable download and upload speeds work as advertised; if this is a replacement use your old passwords from prior modem

Very useful modem, only problem is the app is not made for this modem.

I was having serious issues with my internet dropping out (xfinity) after much troubleshooting figured out that my router was failing. I decided to replace it with the combo modem router. Setup was easy and the performance is excellent. WiFi range exceeded my last router and covers my 2500 sf home with no problems. Very happy with this purchase
