Needed an upgrade according to Xfinity. Having had positive history with similar Motorola product, this was my choice. Found Motorola most helpful, easy contact and very polite personnel. Best Buy personnel are always helpful, which is a big reason they are my option most frequently.

ok performance but you will hve to up grade at a later date to 3.1

Replaced my Xfinity rented modem/router with this device. It gives me good broadcast strength for the various TVs within my home (5) along with my wireless devices and took only about 15 minutes to set up. It did not require me to call Xfinity to speak with a support person before it was activated. Calling Xfinity can be a chore at times.

Very useful modem, only problem is the app is not made for this modem.

Easy to setup and as good or better than cable rental unit

I got this router as recommended buy a Comcast employee. I wanted to save some money on the rental fees at Comcast. This router works great. Easy set up and if you want to get creative and make changes to the router the instructions are Very easy to use. It looks nice and works very well. Would recommend to anyone looking to save some money on there Comcast bill

I bought this router because I was tired of paying the cable company $20 month to rent the router. The cable company even helped me to set it up. It works great and will pay for itself in no time.

On the larger side for size-wise, but sturdy for a load of TV, Internet, and phone service. I had to have two phone lines, and this fills that job. Icons are brightly lit and easy to read. This modem-router covers my 1400 sq. foot home. My office is two rooms away and my printer and laptop work fine. On the pricey side but about average when compared to other market outlets. This will cut any rental fees I might have paid out with my current plan by about $100+ in savings. I never give anything an "Excellent" until it's been in use for a bit longer. So far, so good.

Excellent speeds out of the same internet I already had. With this Pandemic my family is using internet more than ever, meetings, school, birthdays over google meets. This has allowed everyone on devices at the same time and great speed! Really love this product.

definitely didn't plug and play....dont bother calling motorola for help....never answered after over an hour of waiting on hold they messaged in and disconnected and said call at another time. No problems since getting hooked up....been dependable in the weeks since
