I got tired of paying extra money every month for Xfinity router,so I purchased my own. It's expensive, but still less than one year of leasing fees from Comcast. I just wish I did it sooner. It was easy to setup, no problem so far and although I purchased the store warranty, it comes with 2 years warranty.

This has been a great modem for internet, cable and landline phone. The Xfinity technician who came to install it said it was one of the best on the market.

Works great, easy to set up and has stellar range. Placed in the middle room of the house and I have a perfect signal all the way out to the curb with multiple devices connected. Works with Xfinity service, fast activation also

As far as I know it’s working. Wanted to save money on my cable bill. I don’t know anything about electronics. Friend hooked it up and it took him 5 min or so.

We purchased the sane modem that we had because Comcast techs said we had an issue with our modem. The Motorola TM7711 was easy to set up and Motorola support was great. We are very happy with our purchase and Best Buy delivered it to our car when we arrived.

Had the xfi xfinity router for awhile. Returned in a few days and got the Motorola. Wow ! What a difference, so much faster and better. Wifi is faster and better. If you hard-wire it,its insanely fast too. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Dont waste your time or money or rental fees on Xfinity's junk.

I had to switch to cable because AT&T doesn't offer fiber optics in my area, and probably never will. Now I can use my own Xfinity router, without paying the $14 monthly fee to rent theirs. It works great! Wish I had made the switch a long time ago! You will too!

So far this Motorola unit is doing everything I’ve ask it to do. Decided it was cheaper to purchase a compatible modem instead of paying $14 a month to Comcast to have their box. All apps and tvs are streaming well with no apparent loss of signal.

This mode/router was fairly easy to set up. No problems. You just need to remember to contact comcast/xfininty to make the full connection to the new equipment. I did speak with a very helpful specialist at Best Buy before buying it. He was very helpful.

I have been using this for like 6 months, have not had any issues and I’m saving from paying fees to my ISP (Xfinity/Comcast) and the range is great. I also used the ports for my work from home setup and it worked flawless.

I'm not the best at tech stuff but this wifi enabled Modem installed in like 5 min's. Works great for me and I have WOW. I bought this cause I seen it worked with Comcast also so either service will work.

If you know your xfinity login information, installing this is simple and you don't have to call Xfinity for support. After install, we are getting the speeds we paid for and everything is working much better. Make sure to reset your default passwords during install!

The Router is good and was easy to setup. The main issue could be with your service providers. MAKE SURE TO NOT GET XFINITY AND USE THIS ROUTER/MODEM. They will combine your 2.4Ghz band and your 5Ghz band to make the router a lot less useful

Set up was easy. The range could be better. Put it in the living room and the signal in the office is week. I know the walls are part of the problem but the off is isn’t to far from the living room.

The Motorola MT7711 modem + router was installed March, 2022, and has provided reliable connection and strong signals to parts of the house that were previously "dead zones" for wireless internet connection. The only downside was the Ethernet cord supplied with this unit was too short to reach the computer hard wired to the modem, so a longer Ethernet cord was used. Also, the power cord was too short to reach the surge protector, so an extension cord was needed.

Ordered this online to replace my carriers leased one. It will pay for itself in 10 months. Took about 25 mins to get hooked up to my carriers network. Speeds are the same if not faster then my leased one.

Tired of paying monthly rental to Comcast for a router. Purchased this Motorola because it offered a 2 year warranty. It was super easy to install, did have a problem with the phone, all due to Comcast. Been working like a charm since.

This unit was very easy to install and provides much faster wifi and internet service for my pc than the rented unit. I was paying $168.00 per year to rent the Comcast unit, so in less than a year and a half, I will recover the cost of this unit. Great investment!

I've only had the modem for a few weeks and so far I'm happy with it. We did have to have Comcast come out on the initial setup as we had problems but it was all on the comcast end of things - not the modem's issue.
