While the product did everything advertised and setup was quick and easy, this modem didn’t allow for nearly the speeds I am paying for. If you are looking to break the chains of paying Comcast monthly for your router this is a great first step. But if you’re looking for wireless speeds greater than 500 - you’re going to have to go bigger. I returned this.

Motorola MT7711 24X8 Cable Modem/Router with Two Phone Ports, DOCSIS 3.0 Modem, and AC1900 Dual Band WiFi Gigabit Router, for Comcast XFINITY Internet and Voice. I was looking for a modem/router that supported OOMA. I obviously overbought.

Set up was easy (I did work with Xfinity to get the set up completed) and a month into it the modem is working great, Definitely worth the switch with the monthly savings since I don’t have the rental fee anymore.

Amazing! Boughr this long ago but I would definitely recommend this modem/router. Aside from being compatible with Xfinity it does it's job without any issues. Don't regret this purchase at all.

I had this router for a month and no issues. My very similar router I was renting needed to be reset often and interfered with some of my other wireless devices. I couldn't be happier.

I had difficulties at the beginning, contacted Xfinity. Xfinity techs came to the home, issue resolved. Modem works perfectly! No landline phone nor cable compatibility issues.

Excellent modem. Broadband. Saved money with having to pay a monthly fee with the cable company. I haven’t had any problems this far and setup was easy.

This Comcast Xfinity modem was very easy to set up with the enclosed instructions. Didn't even need to contact Comcast. Best part, no more rental charges on my monthly bill.

Great replacement for renting Comcast modem router. Slightly lower price than some of them other modems. But if you want great wifi coverage in a big house or multilevel house, just buy modern and a mesh system.

I was away and there was a power surge, so as soon as I returned I knew right away to go online to Beat Buy and see what they had and the prices. I decided on this particular product because it checked all my boxes

An excellent product. Very easy to setup and connect to the internet. And it worked wonders by improving the connection speed with my Xfinity service. Very happy customer.

It works great! Set up was easy! I no longer have to pay Xfinity to rent their router. I wish I'd done this sooner-would have saved me sooner. The only down side, is that I don't think it's compatible with Verizon fios. :(

If you are looking for a router with good signal level, one that is easy to set up, and even more, one that has modem, and voice all in one, this is the best one you can buy. I will recommend it 100%

We saved a bundle by buying the AC1900 Motorola router from Best Buy and returning the ISP-provided router we were given years ago by Comcast. It paid for itself in about 14 months.

Purchased this specifically to get rid of Comcast/Xfinity monthly rental fees. I have not run any speed tests yet, but the modem works perfect as a replacement to the Xfinity gateway.

I really don’t know why I didn’t think about this a long time ago. Works better than borrowing or renting from the tv company. Easy set up and works very well. If you have not you need to buy yours and dump the rented one

Great router and modem! We had such horrible internet speed with Comcast abd their newest solution, we decided to but our own! This one was recommended fir Comcast subscribers and it did the trick!

Modem was plug n play practically for the installer. He said it typically needed to call it in to activate it, but he was able to do more than typical locally with his equipment to register it. Not happen with the UI, advanced settings You really cannot change any settings on the device and for advance settings you need a password, but when I contacted support they said that's only for techs and there's no setting to manage/view. For the price, I expect a little more access and features to manage.

Works well and not needing an extender for my 2 story house. So glad to not have service fees from Comcast per month
