Replace Xfinity rental modem

Our plan includes a VoIP (voice over internet protocol) phone service. We started having issues with the phone dropping calls. The phone itself was about 6 months old, so we figured it could be the new phone, or a modem issue. We decided to try a new modem first and since replacing p, phone service has improved.
