Beat thing I ever did. Was work the price too. Returned two is my cable boxes.

Easy to install (if you contact Xfinity not as fast as Xfinity’s but works good saves $7.50 per month.

Instead of paying exhorbitant monthly rental rates from the cable company, this modem quickly pays for itself.

This thing does a poor job as a router, but Comcast tell me they can’t work with a cable modem and real router - their head-end DHCP server is too slow and the Cisco and Aruba Networks gear I prefer to use times out waiting for a DHCPOFFER. It isn’t properly tunable for wireless performance, so that’s turned off and my commercial Aruba Instant network is behind it. It doesn’t like to be double NAT’ed, so my security provisions (multiple VLANs and associated L3 interfaces, security zones) went out the window with this steaming pile. I’m going to look for a replacement router that will work with a cable modem, or change ISPs to get away from Comcast. Unfortunately, the options are HughesNet, a local terrestrial microwave provider, or StarLink. If you must use a “cable router,” with wireless, this is probably typical. But if you’re an advanced user, it will be frustrating what this won’t do.

We had a “new” Xfinity rental modem for about a year. Our plan includes a VoIP (voice over internet protocol) phone service. We started having issues with the phone dropping calls. The phone itself was about 6 months old, so we figured it could be the new phone, or a modem issue. We decided to try a new modem first and since replacing p, phone service has improved.

Has 4 ports for accessories like cable box, game, disc computer. Needs slave unit to transmit in small 1600 sq ft ranch. Good speed transfer using 100 MB’s system from infinity. Does not say it will work with Charter.very very lite build. Plastic case. Has printed circuit board in center really charging way more than they need too.

Why didn't I buy my own router years ago? Set up was relatively easy and it's working well.

Set up easily in an evening and connected with no issues. Tested speeds were equal to standard equipment.

This router/modem is exactly what I wanted. I works great and is faster than my last one.

My internet provider was charging me $14 per modem rental for 12 years ( 0ver $2000 total for 12 years) so finally I cut my procrastination and went to best buy and purchase this device. It works just was good as the one that my internet provider was renting me for $14 per month. So now I am saving an extra $14 per month. The only draw back is that you have to go to the manufacturer website to change the password.

Good router. Had no problems, good receiver , hooked up fine. Looks good on shelf. Would buy it again.
