Note the backup battery is NOT included. If you want your phone service to continue during a power failure, you'll have to spend about $50 for the battery.

Worth it- will pay for itself in a year. Install not quite as easy as sales person described. Had to call Motorola help line for assistance. This was not a big deal but it was required- included instructions not clear. You have to change all your network settings on phones, printers, etc... and you should change the network password from the password provided at purchase.

Replacement for my comcast router

The TV and phone service work fine. My internet is a little spotty but not much different from the comcast router I was paying monthly for. My sons connected their gaming systems directly into this router and have no problems or lagging. Saving money monthly and about the same service as the one provided by comcast.

Breaks too soon

Notwithstanding the supposed warranty for two years, I would have to ship it to them at my cost and then wait a few weeks while they fix it and send it back. I can't afford to not have internet for a month or two.

Does the job and saves you $ if you use xfinity!

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Geek squad helped set up...Xfinity was an issue...after I called twice was able to switch on and use wifi, router and phone...had initially purchased the Ariss product but could not get that to work...went with the Motorola and it appears to be doing the job...Xfinity is definitely not giving me the speeds that I am paying for.
