We bought this modem so we could renting ours from the cable company. Wifi was horrible and kept kicking us off our our devices (phone, security camera). We ended up returning. We also were only given store credit as it was over the 14 day return policy.

I like this one that's an update over my last version of this. The wifi range is a lot better and the updated features are good as well. If you have the older version, it's definitely worth an update.

Purchased this to avoid the rental charges of the Xfinity modem and this is actually better than i thought it would be because of the extra ethernet ports that the Xfinity model didn't have and since i have voice service, this makes it worth while!

I was real excited to try my own router and stop paying rental fees to big cable. Was very easy to install and activate. In the end the speed was not as fast as the xfinity router I had. Ran the WiFi speed test several times but it was about half or less as fast. Was disappointed, because in order to achieve the speed desired I would have to purchase several higher end components totaling at least $500. I ended up returning this and going back to Comcast to get their xFi router.

Got this Modem/Router because we didn't want to pay monthly for Xfinity rental. Plus this model has a much better Wi-Fi coverage. Coverage is great in my 3 story home everywhere. Very happy and price was good!

I bought this to replace the leased modem from Comcast and it really is a better unit as it is stronger and I get better wifi coverage plus it has the jacks for the "home phone".

Motorola is my go-to for modems. The IPs make it a pain to setup because they'd prefer you rent. But once that's done these are better than any modem I've ever rented.

The Wifi range is much more than I was expecting. I use it with XFinity and very happy with its speed and range. It is placed in the basement and ranges all house.

I was having multiple issues with my Comcast services. I have TV, phone and internet and there were issues with all three. This router/modem solved my issues and was reasonably priced.

Gateway was very easy to set up. It handles all my wireless devices and telephone. Decent range and speed. Reasonably priced. I have owned this product approximately two weeks.

So far its works great and handles all my internet needs. If I had to I would not hesitate to another. The assistance from Motorola has benn, for the most part, outstanding

Purchased this router/modem for compatibility with Xfinity. Setup was straightforward and the device is performing as expected.

It does its job but I do get a lot of picture freeze up on my tv. not sure if its from the modem or the cable company, that's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

The router WiFi combination was very easy to set up, worked flawlessly with our Comcast account and provided a much stronger signal throughout the house.

So far the equipment is doing what it is suppose to do. The comcast technician installed it and didn't appear to have any issues. I have noticed some delays in internet activities. I don't know if it's the router or comcast that is causing this issue.

Seems like lower latency when starting up applications. Installation was very easy -- it was just plug and play. Like the idea where you can mimic the old Comcast's ID and password so you don't have to change all the wifi clients.

Bought this so I wouldn't have to pay a monthly charge from Xfinity. Saves me a little over $200.00 for a 2 year contract. Might not be as good as the X1 from Xfinity but I'm okay with that.
