My old modem was too slow and did not provide the internet speed which I currently have with ISP. I looked at all of the compatible routers with my ISP, and finally selected Motorola - Dual Band AC19000 router, It works better than our expected. It is very easy to setup. It took me less than 30 minutes to do so. It works best by itself to cover entire house but we use one available network extender in one room which once again, it is not necessary.

Provides fast and reliable service. Works great for the 4 tv’s and gaming systems.

Modem router version is Xfinity compatible and it was easy to set up and configure.

I wish it was more affordable, but it definitely saves you in the long run by not having to pony up $13 a month to rent the X-Fi Router/Modem. It was a pretty easy setup, with maybe one or two hiccups, which may be attributed to me being extra tired after work and trying to do things without property reading the manual. The speed is as good as-if not better than-the Xfinity supplied Router/Modem, and I haven't experienced any issues whatsoever. All in all, I'm quite satisfied with my purchase of this item.

Bought this because I didn't want to keep paying $15/month for the router Xfinity was renting to me. This Motorola has much better speed and range (I no longer require the extender that I also bought from Xfinity), plus it seems far more robust. I had to reboot my old one regularly - this one has been running for a couple months and not a single issue. Love it so far.

GREAT monitor/rotor, just wish Xfinity corrected their area so that I could have kept this perfect monitor/rotor!

It functions near perfectly, with the only exception being short lapses in connection that last for about 1-10 seconds. Can usually be fixed, if it doesn't automatically reconnect, instantly to switching to a different frequency if you can. And especially considering it pays for itself in a year compared to the rental which would work for 10 minutes on and off, it's an excellent product.

It is a good modem, really easy to switch your old modem to this one.
