I tried to get the issue fixed through geek squad and got nothing but attitude. All I wanted was my modem fixed so I could have internet and phone. So I ended up spending it back for a refund.

The phone line has locked up several times which means I’ve had to reboot the modem to get dial tone back. I would not recommend this unit. None of these issues were present with my other modem/router.

Didn’t work out for me

Speed was way slower than I should have had. Replaced with a different unit and speed was more than double. Returned this item. Configuration was a breeze, though. Note: the modem is NOT compatible with Optimum phone service!

Motorola Dual-Band AC1900 modem

When I tried to connect it up with Xfinity they advised me it could not be done because the serial number was already in use by some one in New York. I had to return it and purchased the same one again from Amazon. To my surprise it was NEW and never been used. It's up and running and have had not problems with this modem.

Don't buy for 1000+ Mbps speeds

The download speed is only 750 mbps which leaves me unsatisfied that I have only recently discovered this problem and feel as though I was robbed and bamboozled.

Not compatible with cable system

So far, despite spending hours on the phone with the tech line, the modem is sitting in the box and I am still paying for the comcast modem. I am waiting for the stores to open so I can return it.
