We paired it with Google Wi-Fi (recommended by a Best Buy sales person who also purchased and experienced both products together) and love it! We've had it for 3 months and have seamless service.

Great DOCSIS 3.0 modem, but invest in a DOCSIS 3.1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace the Spectrum (southern california) supplied modem. It would drop the connection a dozen times per day, and each time it would take 2-3 minutes to come back up. After many rounds of back and forth with Spectrum, we were told that they are trying to get customers off of DOCSIS 3.0 modems and onto the new 3.1 modems. Some of the newer equipment they're installing on their networks don't work well with DOCSIS 3.0, but they're doing so in an effort to get more reliable, faster speeds for more people as everyone is working from home these days. Replaced with a DOCSIS 3.1 modem and all works well. This may not affect everyone as cable ISPs vary from region to region, but worth checking with your ISP before purchasing. In general, I'm a huge proponent of Netgear devices. However, the trend seems to be toward newer technology.

Great modem if you prefer not to rent from ISP

Comcast Upgrade

I complied and all has been well. No complaints as everything was pretty much plug n' play.
