Wow. I never paid much attention to internet performance until now. Have been with Comcast for over 12 years, was grandfathered in at 80Mbps, realized the other day that years went by and for the same price per month I could get 400Mbps. I upgraded from an Arris WB750a which topped at 160Mbps. This new net gear modem get me over 500Mbps 90% of the time amd has made a massive difference in the way my internet performs.

I like it works well even I like it better 2 in 1.

Can't believe we were paying 12.99 a month for a modem. This works just as well, and will pay for itself in a few months. Would recommend this product. Our Son also has the same one.

I am not sure how you would distinguish a bad modem from a good one! However, I did not experience any problems with internet using this modem. It just has too many llbright lights, so not suitable for bedros!

Working beautifully, no issues at all so far. I really like that the lights are small and unobtrusive. When we dim the lights for a movie, we don’t see the modem glowing under the TV anymore.

Good modem Works perfect! this modem handled our 600Mbps of cable internet plus mesh router just fine!

What can you say about a modem? It either works or it doesnt. The...uh.. lights on the front are very visible....the connections on the back work correctly. Solid product

I finally gave back my TWC router and bought this. Works great and use it with the Apple Extreme. Pretty good coverage in that i have a 3 story place. Added an Apple Express to increase coverage. I would recommend this router instead of paying monthly to TWC

Decided to buy rather than rent. This Netgear modem is excellent for our tv and computers. We did already have the Netgear Nighthawk router (a separate router is required by our Cox service).

After purchasing an all in one unit we discovered that our wireless signal was terrible. At the advice of a helpful Best Buy employee, we returned the combo unit and purchased this modem and a wireless router separately. Best decision. Thanks Best Buy.

I’ve been using this for over two years now in conjunction with my VPN service. No issues yet!

This is a must have for most everyone. The internet providers charge to lease lesser quality units. You break even the first year and save every year there after. I have a Netgear router as well which work great together.

Larger Lights on this modem would be quite helpful

I read other reviews, I have FIOS, But I just wanted to use this in another part of my house that has cable coax wire there already. I already bought and have from Verizon the "Main" router. I wanted & thought I could use this as a 2ndary, "slave" type router to give me better Wifi coverage in that area. No Bueno.. I don't know how to change the settings in this to do that. and the instructions are ONLY a 2sided piece of paper...??? I have a Netgear N600 wireless only router in another area, which works great. This one wants to be the Master on the wifi, and it can't be. If I knew how to set it up, It'd be great. Reasonably priced, looks stylish, for my taste, But unfortunately will be returning it back to BB...
