This modem was easy to set up. Instructions very easy to follow. Unit performs very fast. By purchasing the modem it save me money every month by not having to pay my cable company retail fee for there modem.

Time Warner is upgrading Maxx in Raleigh area, and this cable modem supports the 16 dl x 4 ul channels to achieve the fastest speeds that they are upgrading to. Netgear modems are easy to hookup, and have the best prices.

I knew I needed a 16 channel downstream MODEM for my 250Mbps connection. MODEM are pretty simple, you make sure you have enough channels to cover your speed or you may limit the speed of your connection. Xfininity installed my system and other than a hiccup where I had to have it re-authorized in their system it's worked without problem and i'm getting the expected speed i'm paying for. I've subtracted a star for a couple of nitpicky things. 1. There is no way to mount this to a wall and while that may sound silly I have my network homerun to a closet and wall mounting would be the easiest way to keep it out of the way. 2. It's very lightweight and plasticky so it's easy for the cable to pull the MODEM off of it's base and the glossy plastic shows fingerprints too easily. Summary: A solid piece of networking equipment. No frills casing but ultimately I can deal with that.

The product is firing on all cylinders. COX was nagging me to move up from DOCSIS 2.0 so this is a little better than the minimum required to do that. It hasn't required any reboots since it was installed. There have been two things that bugged me. 1) The activation URL for COX in the user manual is wrong. It is no fault of Netgear that the activation process, once I found the URL, was a hassle. 2) The previous modem had a button on top that allowed me to in effect pause the modem, which I find valuable during intervals where the house is unoccupied. I didn't demerit for this because it is possible to find this out before purchase.

I replace my ISP's modem with this one because of the problems I was having with my wifi at home. Since installation of this modem I have had no problems and my wifi is much faster and more reliable.

Great value for the money. Works great with sparklight high speed. I have the 300mbps plan and it handles it just fine. Great deal if you catch it on sale.

Its plug and play with Comcast. I was worried because these things are never as they are advertised on setup.. Worked easy with google wifi mesh system.

A good cable modem. Compatible with many different internet carriers. I think it’s a bit over priced. However it dose a good job. I’m satisfied with my purchase so far!

This modem has been great and is compatible with my Comcast service so I no longer have to pay a monthly rental of $10 to use theirs. I have had no issues and it was very easy to set up.

This is a great modem for the price. It's honestly really not bad. It helped my internet speeds improved. It wasnt by much but all the speed counts.

This modem, made a huge difference in my connection speed with Comcast, compared to the original leased Comcast modem. The main difference is the ability to use and combine more channels at once, while the other Comcast modem only uses 2. Speedtest.net indicated that my connection speed went from approx. 120Mbps to over 154Mbps.

Works great! Managed to squeeze 600Mbs out of it. At $40 , who can beat that deal.

The installation was simple and the directions were straightforward. Has improved our internet speed slightly from the modem our cable company provided for us. Not sure how it would be with gaming.

Purchased to replace old modem that stopped working after several years. So far no issues/problems. Was easy to setup/install.

Switched out cable modem provided by mediacom-trash. Went from sluggish 4mbps to over 70 mbps just like that. Pay for 100 and get there quite a bit. Easy to install, works great.

Got this on sale so that’s always a plus. It was easy to set up and it works just as well as the modem I was paying a monthly fee for. Looking forward to it paying for itself soon.

I researched modems before buying and this model had really good reviews plus great price. It was easy to setup but I don't like the light indicators because they are way too small.
