I have Cox as my ISP and this modem is perfect for the premier service I have. This replaced a working relatively new modem that was no longer compatible with Cox on the premier level

Plugged in, got xfinity to activate it, and away we went. Replaced it due to an old one being fried by a lightning strike. No complaints here!

I did not want to keep paying the monthly rental from my cable company for a modem (~$15/month). I purchased this Netgear modem and it will pay for itself in 4 months

This is a highly rated modem for fast speeds. We’ve had zero issues with slow down or bandwidth. If you only have a basic internet package though, you don’t need this model as a cheaper version would work just as well. There wouldn’t be any additional benefit unless you need or have faster internet speeds.

We got tired of paying for a rental fee every month and decided to but our own. It's been great over the past few months and has even improved our internet stability.

Removed my lease fee from time warner (now spectrum) and increased bandwidth speed. Not my over speed since its capped. A diffrence only noticable to me since I use large amount of data.

This is a good modem, I have had no problems with it so far and it works with Comcast just fine and it is a better investment than using one of their modems you lease.

Works well with xfinity internet. May need to reboot once in a while to regain internet speeds. Could be an xfinity issue. I had to do that with other modems

I have had this modem about a month, and it has worked well with Xfinity wifi so far. It was a lot cheaper to buy this modem outright than to rent one from Xfinity/Comcast.

This was the perfect choice for our internet. The guy at the store saved us a bunch of cash by letting us know that the "faster" one would be a waste as it surpassed our internet speed anyway.

I decided to buy a modem instead of leasing one from the cable company to save the additional monthly cost. After 7 months I will be saving $10 each month.

My cable modem provides great service and it has helped me to save money. It's a great feeling finding ways to avoid those extra fees that cable providers charge.

Works well, easy to connect and there is no issues to use with a wifi router.

Purchased Netgear nighthawk router, and my Internet / wifi still kept dropping out. Talked with a geek squad Tech @ Best Buy and he recommended this Netgear modem to solve the problem.

It was a good device. I'm using that instead of the Xfinity modem and router. It works well, however the range of connection cover is less than the Xfinity modem.

Good price and easy to set up. I did have to do a long cable run before the modem, and signal quality is not 100%. Not sure if a higher model would help with this. No issues if you run with short cable run before modem.

We needed to replace our 6 year old modem and now we have a much better signal from our WIFI. We are very happy with this.

By its design, vents are on the top. I have had problems with it getting very VERY warm. It was causing me to lose my internet connection. I have placed a small fan blowing into the vent to keep it cool and it has resolved the problem. I wish I had known that heat can be a problem. I would have looked for a modem with more venting.
