FYI there is only 1 ethernet port on this modem so could be limiting for some people which also why I put only 4 stars.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A Best Buy Rep AND a Spectrum rep suggested I purchase this to replace the modem that Spectrum supplies for free. I've not had problems with speed, etc. but beware that this only has one ethernet port (as opposed to Spectrums 4) so you need to buy an Ethernet switch. Lately, I've had problems with my internet/network and am trying to figure out if it is my new Eero router or the modem. The tech help at Spectrum suggested I use their modem...yes, this was AFTER a Spectrum rep at Best Buy said to purchase my own modem. Not happy about all of the confusion and mixed messages.

Good low price modem

It's bottom of the line but that's all I needed. One problem gets a little warm sometimes so I'm a little worried about it's longevity
