I've gone through a couple of modems over the last few years and this one has been by far the most reliable. Consistently get the max speeds for my Xfinity plan.

Modem is a replacement for a piece of garbage Mediacom installed. Internet now works great! Was easy to install.

Exceptional speed and quality. Smaller than most modems so it doesn’t take up a lot of space. If you want a good bang for your buck this is it.

Comcast told me to upgrade my two-year old modem to get maximum speed. I purchased the Netgear - Docsis 3.0 and, boom, my speed increased 50% as promised, and no trouble since.

Replaced my old Motorla modem I bought 10 yrs ago that I have used with Comcast. Needed to upgrade to this newer DOCSIS 3.0 Netgear modem as the old one is no longer supported. Easy to setup out of the box. Has worked consistently the past 4 weeks since I installed. Only minor issue as other reviewers pointed out is the visibility of the light in front of the modem - they are too weak to make out from more than 5 feet away. If I have internet issues on my laptop, I cannot see from the couch which is 12 feet away if signal is coming in or not. Have to walk close to the modem to make out. Minor, but annoying issue. Overall pleased with product.

Good modem from Netgear. Got tired of paying rental fees from Xfinity, purchase this modem at a good price. It's faster than the modem Xfinity provides and also easy to set up.

Gen Paul psi t was easy to set up and worked immediately with my Comcast/xfinity service. Frankly I have found it better than my previously rented modem from xfinity.

Super easy setup and my speeds jumped dramatically when I replaced the standard Spectrum modem with this one

This Netgear modem works perfectly with my new TV and computer. It was very well priced and when you consider Comcast wants to charge $10. A MONTH, it is a steal at $79.00.

good budget and good speed modem. If you have internet under 300Mbps, you should be fine with this modem

This cable model is easy to setup and after 5 minutes with the cable company we are online. No issues so far and speed is as expected. We have 8-10 devices total and so far so good after couple of months.

Easy installation, performance is great would recommend this product to be used with NETGEAR Wifi Router for best performance, but works great with other brand routers.

This is so much better than when I had a router and modem separately! I was so upset and frustrated when I had to contact three different companies for my devices. Ever since getting this all in one device, my life has been easier! I called Xfinity and they activated the service, called Netgear and they registered the device. Now I’m able to control who all connects to my modem with an app on my Phone and I only have one set of cords and one device to have in my living room.

Automatically connected to my cable company and now I have a faster service been running this with my router for about a month no problems very reliable!

A month to the day since I bought it. Seems to work well, no glitches as if yet, also I'm saving about 10 bucks a month. Nothing negative so far.

I am using this modem with Google wifi router and it's working great.. not even a single failure so far... Way better than its predecessor 8×4 model

I had to upgrade to a Docsis 3.0 to maintain data speeds. NetGear has a good reputation for quality and reliability. I have had no problems and would recommend it to anyone.

Bought this to replace the old but reliable Zoom cable modem for use with xFinity when they informed me it would no longer be supported soon. Although I wasn't complaining before this does seem faster, think it has more downstream channels. Status LEDs are a little harder to see, have to have a good angle.

Bought this as I was replacing the COMCAST modem and saved the rental amount I was paying. Interestingly, I had an issue where the internet was not working on day 2. I called COMCAST and as they tried to troubleshoot they informed me something was wrong with the cabling in the house and they will have to send a guy out to fix it which will cost me money. Funny how things change when you don't rent a modem from COMCAST. Anyways I let it sit for a day unplugged and magically it started working. 2 months now, no issues. Materials seem cheap but performance is great!!!
