This modem is a solid performer that I chose instead of renting from Xfinity. It has paid for itself in just a few months. Don’t forget to pair it with a router!

I had a lightening strike at my apartment and needed to replace both my router and my modem. Reasonably priced. This modem set up quickly. Very pleased.

Easy setup plus you can manage who gets online with an app. You can keep kids off of the wi-fi until school work is done. Multiple devices on this with no problem.

Purchased this modem because the internet carrier increased its speed. It handles the higher speed well and does not run as hot as some have claimed.

Wanted to replace the cable company provided modem/router combo. I had initially grabbed a CM600 and it would not connect with my cable, called cable company and they were only supporting up to the CM500, so swapped it at Best Buy (no issues, easy, thanks BB). So make sure you find out what your company supports. CM500 working fine, am glad I made the swap. The two seperate units (modem and router) way faster than the original combo unit. Wish I had done this sooner!

This is the modem to buy if you are tired of spending money every month to rent one from you cable company. The set up was completed in minutes and if you have Comcast internet then you do not even have to call anyone to connect the modem. It does the whole set up right on the computer and activates itself without you having to do anything except entering your info so it can look up your account. Have been using this modem with 75mbs internet and it can handle the traffic from massive online gaming sessions and having my kids streaming movies at the same time. Buy this modem its perfect for the job.

Very nice modem easy to install. The modem is currently handling 13 devices with no problem whatsoever.

This NETGEAR router was very easy to setup. The router is working fine so far without an extender in our two floor house with multiple devices. It works well with Spectrum WiFi and saves cost of renting one so we hope it lasts a long time. Occasionally the internet connection between our HDTV downstairs drops so we just reboot it and it reconnects - happens mostly during heavy snow or rainy weather and it might be the TV.

Works great and have not had any problems! And for the price was quite happy with the purchase.

The modem was packaged well - Installed with easy - Gains, pings, and jitter all improved - Bandwidth increase some - Matches my nighthawk router - So far so good!

Extremely easy to install and set up. Took just a few minutes. Definitely notice a difference in speed from the modem I was using from the cable company.

The modem delivers 300mbps+ speeds as long as your cable connection supports it. The small footprint and usage of green LED (rather than blue) is a plus!

I like Netgear products in general, and have several, so when it came time to upgrade my Cable Modem to support higher speeds, I put Netgear on my short list along with Arris. I previously used an Arris SurfBoard, and found that I had to reset it daily to maintain a connection to the internet on TWC. Because of that, I decided to give the Netgear CM500 Cable Modem a try to see if it was more stable and reliable. I have now been running for a few weeks without any drops in service, and the connection has been fast and stable at a little over 300Mbps (download) and over 20Mbps (upload).
