Cheap modem

I had them re-activate the Arris modem that the CM500 was supposed to replace. Also I did not like several things: 1. It has no ON/OFF button 2. The lights are very small and I can barely see them.

Very Good Modem

Bought it as a replacement of the model given by service provider. Its a one time investment and with in 7-8 months the cost is recovered.

Unfortunately, this predicted lasted about 13 months then started to drop connection requiring reboots. The problem got so bad I would have to unplug it several times per day. I have since replaced the modem with a non-Netgear brand.
