I think it works great! No complaints. Set up was very easy as well. Instructions were clear and easy to understand.

I bought this modem to pair with my ASUS router and to avoid the monthly modem fee charged by Comcast. Why pay monthly when after a year of paying you would've covered the cost of this modem and no longer be paying a monthly charge. Speeds have been great and no problems whatsoever

I had my own router so just needed something to make the link with my comcast cable. Despite it has very simple feature set (only one RJ45 port), it works fine and was easy to setup following the quick start guide steps that explains the comcast activation too.

We recently upgraded our internet to 200 down through Spectrum, and our old Arris modem wasn’t gonna cut it any more. So, Spectrum sends us their branded Hitron E31N2V1 modem. To put it lightly, it was not acceptable, even after replacing it with another identical modem. I noticed that both Hitrons would disconnect from the internet anywhere from 2 times an hour to 5 times an hour. Not cool if you’re a gamer or simply trying to watch Netflix or YouTube videos. Enter the Netgear CM500 modem. Activation process was a simple phone call to Spectrum. Within about 5 minutes it was fired up, and has been rock solid. No random disconnects at all to report. Satisfied customer.

I bought this router planning to upgrade by speeds in the future. The router is small and hides easily. I have had no troubles with the router since the initial setup, and the service has been consistent.

This modem is affordable and was very easy to set up and use.

I have owned about three different brands throughout the years from cable companies. Had trouble with the last one from att, it needed to be restarted sometimes. This one has been solid so far.

I hate hidden fees from the cable company, so I decided to purchase this router and return my rental unit to the cable company. This router actually works better and my fees are gone. So long cable bill.

This modem was very easy to install. Instruction made the installation process simple and fast. It took about 15 minutes from start to finish to get my internet up and working.

The NETGEAR CM500-100NAS is great device to buy to eliminate the sneaky fees that most cable companies charge clients. It performs great under high bandwidth video streaming and does great when I am required to backup or restore all my data to the cloud. This device is a no brainer for people that have cable internet and plan to keep it for at least 1-2 years. The device pays for itself pretty quickly. I received the product mentioned above for free as part of NETGEAR’s Friends & Family program.
