Setup Issues

Short life

When my speed dropped and several routers were changed....I replaced this Netgear crap with Motorola. Amazing difference in performance. Not a fan of anything Netgear actually.

Don't purchase! This is garbage.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This modem is only capable of having the IP address of 192.168.100.1 and cannot be changed. Does not matter if you're running on 10.x.x.x or 172.16.x.x or anything else for that matter. You have to use their IP address and cannot change it. Plan on returning tomorrow. The only thing you can control on this modem is the password . Find a better modem!

Just get the extended warranty

Did not work like stated.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This modem stated it worked with xfinity. I bought it the day I had xfinity installed and neither the installer or I could get the cable/internet to work with this modem hooked up.

Could’ve been Better

I bought the modem new, so I thought. Customer service was great, I got my money back without any issues.
