Good replacement for a good price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think Cox bricked my old modem by suddenly saying it's now incompatible with my same network speeds that I had before (150mbps down and 10mbps up). I went with this modem because it was on sale for $50 and it was definitely a good choice. The guy at Cox that completed the setup knew exactly which modem it was and said it was compatible with my current speed and the 300mbps speed service as well. Works great and speeds have been consistently fast. No complaints at all.

My computer linked up perfectly and had high speed. Would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a modem and avoid paying a monthly fee to rent an internet company’s modem.

Small, inexpensive, yet effective

Very easy set-up, however, signal display lights are hard to see. But since your don't have to look at them after setup, this is not a big problem.
