This modem is very easy to install and it is priced very reasonable.

The modem is working great and was easy to install.

Great modem and saving a lot from renting from the cable company. I was impressed how much faster and better the connection was living in a home built in 1974 with thick walls. After five years of of renting a modem, This was a good option. Easy to set up.

I did a lot of research between the fastest approved modems by the cable company and where thiamine modems were sold Best Buy was the only store around that had a fast standalone modem as I already had wifi. My recommendation is that if you already have a wifi router, buy this modem and hook the two up otherwise you'll spend a considerable amount more.

Set up was very simple, plug, plug, plug, configure, yup, works.

Probably one of the best modems you can get in its speeds and price class. Perfect for people wanting to break away from their ISPs All in One units they like to charge you monthly for. Of course, you will need a modem too if you wish for wifi or to hardwire more devices.

This review is based on only three days of use. However, the modem is working perfectly. I replaced the CM500 model because I wanted to add the telephone feature. It was truly plug and play. Once I had given Comcast the MAC addresses, I simply unplugged the CM500 and plugged in the CM500V. The cable modem did all the rest.

...saving the monthly rental cost of my service provider is saving me a lot of money. I used Netgear before and never had any problems. They offer products and reveal the service providers that they are compatible with for each product.This and Netgear in general offers very reasonably priced products that have never failed me.

My old Router did not work with Comcast even though it is only 4 years old. so I had to get a new router when I moved in my new home; this router was one i had to get since I always used this brand, it is working without a hitch for couple months. I get the top speed advertised by Comcast. Glad I did buy this router.

Purchased this modem so I can save money with my Comcast internet bill. Well worth the price as it pays for itself in as little as 4 months compared to renting out the Comcast modem every month. Easy wifi setup and the mobile software works flawless!

Works for Time Warner's new network and speeds. I'm subscribed to their 100 mb/s line and am receiving roughly 115 mb/s. Mostly bought the standalone modem as opposed to the modem/router combo because I have a free wireless AC router from T-Mobile so this saved me about $100.

Easy to set up cable modem works great I would recommend it.
