a excellent choice for a apt or small area, i had it set up and going in less than 20 minutes. the only problem i had was with hooking it up with comcast, they kept making up excuses on why they were having trouble making it a private wifi.

Replaced my previous DOCSIS 2.0 modem and obviously, what a difference. This modem handles our current bandwidth plan but can see the need to upgrade if we went with the much higher bandwidth tier. For now, this unit has been working great!

Bought this to replace my rental modem from Mediacom, who raised the rental price again. This thing works awesome, have had zero issues with it and was a breeze to hook up. Highly recommend!

If you already have a good wifi router and you get a new internet provider that makes you get your own modem or pay way to much to get one look no further. Get over 60 MBs up and over 5 down. (your mileage will vary depending on your internet provider). I'm also using this with two phone two chromecast three laptops and one gaming pc with no performance issues.

it was used as an replacement for the previous modem from the carrier. The performance wasn't sacrifice at all and somewhat improved the stability of the wifi signal. I barely need to call the service provider for troubleshooting the random disconnecting issue.

I got tired of having to pay Optimum a monthly rental fee for their modem. So, not only am I no longer paying them but I am getting definitely faster download speeds. Bought this when it was on sale. Within a year, it will have paid for itself. To me, it was well worth it.

I bought this so I didn't have to rent a modem from Comcast anymore. Setup was a breeze, and I paired this with Google Wifi at the same time. Both are operating flawlessly and I'm saving $11 a month in rental fees.

This was a relacement for Motorola SB6141 damaged by lightning strike. While the 16x4 Channel Bonding enabling fast 680 Mbps download actually allows wireless connection to Inifity Flex where the Motorola required cable, the range is not as good with a Linksys router as when using the Motorola.

I've had this cable modem for about 2 months now and have had no problems with it. It replaced my previous netgear cable modem which didn't work with my upgraded speed from TWC. I purchased the cable modem because I am tired of paying "rental" fees, that keep inching up, to the cable company. So far, so good.
