DId the job. replaced old modem. Need to go through Xfinity (or other cable provider) to activate which once understood was not a hard process. Otherwise plug and play

Bought this modem so I could save $15.00 a month on my xfinity bill by eliminating my equipment rental. Very easy to install even for someone who is not very tech savvy. Automatically connected to xfinity, no phone call required.

Easy set up. Gigabit port. 16 Channel. Value for money.

Netgear is a trusted brand in my home, so when I came home to work, it was my go-to modem for a 8 year old laptop running Windows 7. It hasn't let me down at all through a month of at home work - strong, steady signal from it through my Netgear browser. Highly recommend!

I've been using it for the past month with Xfinity and it works great. I haven't had any issues so far. It took a little time to set up and I had to call xfinity but once it was set up it works really good.

Good product Using from 2 years no problems till date

Have been using this modem for over a month now and it is behaving just great. Has not had to be reset yet, great speed almost twice the old one. Only problem was on Comcasts end, they had problems getting it recognized. Once they did it has been running flawlessly.

Finally decided to get my own modem and return the horrible one issued to me by the cable company. This was all done throught the direction of my technology savvy son. It works great with all our new routers. Also save me on monthy modem rental. All good.

With the internet modem provided by the internet company, I had frequent dropped connection. This modem offered me excellent reception for all the wireless devices connected. Amazing product for the money, and specially when internet speeds are not in the Giga speeds.

More than enough for my speed tier. Worked flawlessly. No issues setting up

Cable modems are a little hard to review, from the perspective of most of us. I plugged it in, and it worked. The hardest part was waiting on hold with the cable company so they could activate the account. It has done well. No problems or complaints.

I bought this modem, to accommodate higher cable internet speed. I have had no problems with the modem. I am getting 300mb download speed, which is what I pay for. My son is a gamer, and he routinely gets very low ping.

I went to the store to buy a new router and modem because my sbg6580 didnt work well with my provider because they dont know how to break down firmware correctly. So I got this, very simple to used even for those technically illiterate. Fast bandwidth and very consistent.

Modem was easy to install and sure beats paying the cable company to rent one. The associate at the store was extremely helpful and gave us great advice on which router to pair this modem based on our needs. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I think netgear should offer a better warranty like some of the Motorola ones we looked at.

I purchased this when I got my new apartment and it was super easy to install and works great! I even have unlimited internet at the moment and haven't noticed any difficulties in streaming or online activity!

Way better value compared to the garbage you get from ISPs. If you are paying for a lower speed internet plan, then this should be just fine.

Excellent modem for any TWC customers wasting their money every month on the ridiculous rent ($8). I switched from a Motorola DOCSIS 2.0(theirs) to this DOCSIS 3.0. A little faster & I haven't had any issues with it.

Very easy to setup and works great! I have optimum so I was able to use this instead of the one I was renting from them. It’s compatible with my router which is netgear nighthawk.

Worked well while i had it. Returned because my friend had a router we could use and I had no use for it!
