to date this has been an acceptable replacement for the modem from the isp. once I contacted the provider that I had the modem they sent the activation bullet and I and my family have been surfing ever since. getting flash.com readings of between 55 and 78 and that is from a wireless connected device. :)

This new modem is triple the speed that our previous modem is rated. To me a rating is only as good as the paper it is written upon. I ran multiple test to confirm and the modem was actually greater than triple...up to 169 Mbs. Very pleased.

This is a nice modem and for the service I have, it works great. First time connected to the ISP, it had to install firmware three time, three versions. Once done, it works as needed.

Bought it when it was on sale. Works great with xfinity. Had a few connectivity issues that were resolved by simple troubleshooting.

First purchase of a modem. Decided not to pay a monthly rent fee to the cable company any longer and purchased the Netgear model based upon the Best Buy salesman’s advice and I am extremely happy with it.

Works great. we bought this when we decided to go streaming only and drop cable. We did not want to pay a rental to them either. works great and never have any issues.

V useful, fast and easy to setup Router by a reputed company - Netgear. Use it as cable modem router replacement or repeater with it's handy management console.

Works well so far. Have had no slowing problems in my cable internet speeds - getting the max speed from my 50-60Mbps connection. Can't speak for higher speeds, although I would have no problem using this modem for a faster connection.

Booted out AT&T DSL and hired Time Warner Cable for Internet service. This modem came right up, connected to TWC's network, I logged in and away I went. Plugged into my apple AirPort Extreme and no runs, drips or errors for over a month.

Good modem. Fast and reliable. Easy to setup. Netgear is a good brand.

Gets the job done. I haven't had any problems with it.

This is a great investment for the long run, i have bought separately the router and the modem for better performance. Now a days with the new technology for internet you need to have a good equipment capable of supporting the speed.

Two years into ownership and it's still doing its thing just fine. It's more than paid for itself at this point--no modem rental fees. Easy install too with Comcast. It's good gear.

Works perfectly--no more charges from internet provider. Pays for itself in 3 months.

This model is awesome!! We've been renting a modem from our prior cable company which was dated and insufficient to our technological needs. This modem has projected us to a technological level needed to supplement all our tech devices.

We were looking for a replacement for the cable company rental. After review different modems this one stood out. It works great with our router. Best Buy always has answers for what we need and at a good price.

Upgraded from an old modem that was dropping signal. Works great, No signal drops in last 3 weeks since purchase. Old one was dropping signal every few days.

Save some money and buy your own modem. Checked and verified that Spectrum internet would work with this modem. The modem ran very hot for about a week. Now the modem is at a normal temperature. The modem never under performed and after a month still operates fine.

Good product, the quality of the product is good and the price is affordable for anyone
