I replaced a modem/router combo with this Netgear. It has been very reliable and much faster. Set up should have been easy based upon the clear instructions. However, I had to set up 3 times before it worked properly. Since then, no problems..

Works well for me. We use internet for surfing, not a gaming household. Simple, basic, easy to use and set up. I have Comcast/Xfinity and it works well. Slim design, basic black, low profile lights in face of machine.

Bought this to replace the modem we were renting from internet company. The rented one constantly went out and we got tired of having to restart it several times a day. Bought this one and have had no issues since .

This modem meets all of my needs and is compatible with my provider, Mediacom. However, I do NO gaming. It works very well for streaming movies.

Very easy to set up. All I did was plug it in and call my local company to add it to my account. I was up and running before the fall ended which only took a few minutes.

No problems setting it up. Called Cox and had it connected in about 10 minutes. No issues with connection to our wireless router and does not seem to even lose internet requiring restart.

Works great... We have the Netgear Orbi mesh routers, so this replaced or modem/router combo. We have WoW internet (100mb), and have had no issues.

Upgrade my Comcast modem at a great price! Has been working so good. Big upgrade for me.

I've had this modem connected to a netgear wifi router for a couple weeks already and haven't had any issues with streaming or online gaming. Good product and so far very reliable. Very happy with my purchase.

This turned out to be more than what we needed for less than what I expected to pay. Going on 2 months now and everything is working great, even through a couple power outages, just started back up and worked no issue.

bought this modem along with a router when I switched over to Cox high speed internet. Was on sale & I didn't want to pay cox a monthly fee for one of theirs. working great have no problems

Although this would not work on replacing my modem. My internet company ETC will only work on the one they supplied at no charge. If we move , this is what I'm buying again. The reviews are awesome and the hook up is simple.

Fantastic product. Easily got Xfinity customer service to program and add it to my account. Reliable high speed internet is a must! Great product!!

Install was a breeze, the hardest part was calling Comcast/Xfinity to update the MAC and tell us where to return their device. For clarity this is only a modem and does not provide a Wifi network.

Netgear delivers great value. I already had a netgear router which has given me no issues for a few years so it was a no-brainer to go w the same brand.
