With the previous combo modem/router we could not download a movie on Dish while using our laptops. It was a new unit by a major company. With this modem there is no problem and it is very fast by comparison.

I returned my Comcast setup for a separate modem and router. It's made a huge difference. I'm actually getting 100% of the speed I'm paying for now and it's fantastic.

Got the modem to save some money on renting the time warner modem. Hooked right up to to cable and my airport, and works great. haven't had a single problem

The Modem was easy for my internet provider to sync up. I did have some minor glitches with my wireless printer. However nothing major. The internet isn’t as fast as I would like, but it’s acceptable. I would recommend this product.

Good but basic modem to replace Optimum modem (so we don't have to pay monthly upcharges. Worked better than the modem supplied by optimum, but not for a large house with many users

Works perfectly fine on comcast xfinity i plugged it in and connected the cable wire and was able to set it up on the xfinity app.

This modem was affordably priced and works well with our 100 Meg xfinity comcast connection. Netflix streaming issues are gone. It should be ready for 300 Meg when that day comes.

Bought it to try to make my connection better and stop losing connection. And it works perfect. And it gave me a boost in speed also. This and my nighthawk makes my internet perfect

If you are going to go with cable internet then this will be your selection to future-proof your investment. It is capable of growing with faster internet speeds without having to upgrade.

I don't "game" but usually have several WIFI activities going at the same time and have not had any issues. I just plugged it in and called my provider and save $10 per month by not renting from TWC.

I used to have the Arris by Motorola. It had its pluses, but it seemed to keep failing. After careful consideration, I decided to go with this model in conjunction with a separate wireless router. So far this unit has been pretty stable. I've only had to reset it once. My Time Warner service isn't the best in my opinion, but it is the fastest. I'm happy to not pay the modem lease anymore (as the service is expensive enough) especially since they've raised it higher per month.

This product is reliable, attractive and works as promised. Very happy with my purchase! I occasionally have to switch from 5GHz to 2'4GHz, but it is not a big deal and does not hurt my rating.

Bought this along with the Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 router. This setup replaces my Comcast modem + router in one setup. My wireless speed has almost doubled. I don't know what was throttling before but I didn't upgrade my Comcast Blast internet.

Good modern. Old one dies so got htus cheap one to replace.

If all you need is a high speed dependable cable modem, The NetGear CM-500 is the ticket. I use an Apple AirPort Time Capsule for my wireless A/C network and it works great with the NetGear cable modem.

I purchased a new cable modem to replace my existing one. This was easy to setup and works great. I have had other net gear products with good luck.

Get full advertised speed plus an extra 5mbps with my isp (Comcast) with this modem. Paired with Netgear r6400 router. Awesome.

no issues so far, however i have only used this one week as of the time of this review. I have had great performance so far and would recommend the product to those on the fence.
