I got excellent service, and the product met my needs perfectly.

Well I was completely unsatisfied with the Centurylink garbage that I needed to upgrade to separate modem and router. Setup on the centurylink service was fast and easy while the advanced settings within the router are superior.

Installed in 10 minutes and Working. Tried to call netgear and speak with a troubleshooter and was left on hold for 10 minutes so I hung up my phone,

had no issues, seems to be working great, have better coverage

the modem was worth the price works well compatible to others.

It's a DSL router. It works fine, for technology about a decade old. My two options for internet are dsl or satellite, and I'm not made of money. If you can only get dsl this works fine.

I bought this modem for my in-laws that seemed to be having internet issues every week with their DSL. This modem installed super quick and gave them no issues for several months until they upgraded to uverse.

The router works good. Not going to say it's great, but it works fine for me. The stand pegs or feet or whatever you want to call them are cheap, and dont sit quite right, but they do hold it up.

Went to Best Buy to upgrade current internet hardware. Associate took the time and expertise to call our provider, set us up with the right equipment. Very good experience. This modem was easy to set up, no issues.

I bought this so I did not have to pay a monthly fee to my provider. The 1st instruction says to get the user name and password for the provider. Well my provider does not use that, all I needed was to have the VPI & VCI changed. The installation CD does not allow you to do this, so when I called for support the "Expert", he blamed it on bad DSL connection because the 2nd light was flashing (that isn't the DSL indicator this is the ethernet indicator). He told me to call my provider. My provider said that was not the case and had to call Netgear back - well all of this took 2 1/2 hours - Netgear "Experts" need TRAINING! They had me go on routerlogin.net and I am the one that actually found where to put in the VPI & VCI, while I was on hold and got that corrected. But there was another setting that need to be changed and even after telling the "Expert" that I made these changes I was still put on hold multi times after this, he finally told me to make the other setting change.

This is a great replacement to the vendor supplied product.

Great product, easy to install and works as intended

I liked the net gear genie app, made it easy to see what was going on and trouble shoot. However, the N-band router is old technology and will soon be obsolete.

Needed connection at RV resort thus unit works great

This Netgear has a very good price, but it does not have a gigabit connection. Every now and then the connection freezes even though I am still connected to the internet. I need to wait a few minutes before it returns to normal. For now, I just need to deal with it since this is the only product in Best Buy at this price point.

Bought this modem to upgrade my really old one. Turns out Centurylink says my VDSL doesn't support this ADSL modem. Couldnt establish a DSL connection. Netgear says otherwise.
