Reliable but don't rely on auto wizard setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Don't use the disk wizard to try and set this DSL modem up (at least not for centurylink) and you'll be fine. Wasted 20 minutes trying to set up this modem using the included wizard but once I dialed directly into the modem instead the setup took less than five minutes and connection has been steady and reliable since.

Does not work with CenturyLink VDSL

When I took it home I struggled a lot but couldn't get this working. After that when I called up centurylink they told me that their connection is VDSL and this modem is for ADSL. So returned back. This probably will work wit ADSL connectivity but not with VDSL

another super easy setup product by netgear

Hooked this sucker up with a Netgear Nighthawk router and we were smoking on 4 xbox, multiple computers and several smart phones using the wifi connection. No more "I'm LAGGING!!" when more than one xbox is playing. These 2 items have made internet/gaming time much more productive/pleasant!!

Replacement for old cable company router
