Only modem that I found on the shelf that had a compatibility review with CenturyLink right at home and it works great

It's an old school DSL router so there's not much to review but it does work as it should. I have it paired with a Linksys wireless router and they have not lost connections since installing them.

Had to replace my AT&T given DSL modem and there were not so many choices at BB but I picked this one. You do have to call AT&T to have them send it some kind of signal but after that it has worked great.

Good item. Gets the job done. Down side is needing a wireless router as well and the limited bandwidth broadcasting.

The bandwidth is greater than I expected. I would recommend this product as it reached throughout our entire house.

Good product and does what its supposed to. A little bit of a pain to set up for someone who isn't technically savey.

Works well for my family, we are always on the internet playing games, watching movies, and tons of other things.

I received the Netgear modem within a week of ordering. I had problems with it from the start. I called the Netgear tech dept. and after 3 1/2 hours of testing and trials, they told me to return it to where I purchased it, because it is defective. Needless to say, I won't buy any Netgear products in the future.

THE NETGEAR WORKS GREAT BUT INFO FOR THE SET UP WAS NOT GOOD FOR MY INTERNET , CENTURY LINK. IT TOOK 2 CALLS TO NETGEAR HELP LINE AND 2 TO CENTURY LINK,ALL BECAUSE FIRST TECH WAS CLUELESS AT NETGEAR,

Works extremely well for my parents' house. Much better and more stable connection than the 2Wire modem/router it was replacing. It only has 1 ethernet port so it is best used in modem only mode.

I would buy again . If I can set it up anybody can .

I set it up in a large office and purchased an expander at the same time, to be sure coverage wasn't going to be an issue.

I purchased this modem as a back up unit because of the price. I have not yet installed it but the reviews were favorable and the product looks to be of good quality.

Though I ended up returning because I found out that my issue was related to the ISP and not the modem, it apparel to be solid.

Working well. Have 2 computers and two phones and a tablet using wireless network have not had any issues.

I found this modem a bit difficult to install, but does seem to work well. Dsl is still way to slow.

I chose Netgear because of prior experience with their products. Also since I use a N900 wireless router, it is best to match manufacturers when selecting equipment that work together.

We decided to buy a router modem combo and since purchasing this modem we have not had any connection issues.

Great price only sale at the time of purchase but did not work for me

Bought this to replace my old Qwest Modem that was broken. Thinking that it can be setup easily with Century Link. It turned out it is not. So I returned this and bought a more expensive Century Link Modem.
