This Model is the top model from netgear and I am happy to say this has fixed my issues. This modem has the capability to go to gig speeds, although, I’m not using it at gig speeds yet I plan on in the future. If you plan on upgrading, spend a little extra and get something that has a little overhead for what you Plan on using. I will say it is y’all and a little wobbly due to my thick cable I have plugged into it so I put velcro on the bottom of the stand and it doesn’t go anywhere. I would see the modem get lifted up a little due to the cable I screw into the back but that’s my setup and more than likely won’t be like your setup

I upgraded my internet connection with Comcast up to the "1 gig" speed connection. What they do not tell you is 2 things. The first thing is that you need a Modem that supports DOCS 3.1 (which this Nighthawk does) & the other is that you have to upgrade ALL of your Ethernet cables to at least a CAT 6 to be able to handle the "1 gig" speed. This NETGEAR Modem has no issues handling our internet now

Put this in to replace my old Modem when I upgaded to 400MB for Spectrum. Works great I have not had one drop and I get 460-500 on most days. Not much to say about it.

Pretty good modem plug and play type of setup. Easy up use and now I'm able to get the speeds I'm paying for up to 1gbps

I took a little while before posting the review. I wanted to get some time with the device before writing about it. So far so good, Xfinity accepted the modem on my account and I was able to activate it easily and totally online. No long hold times are needed to contact a rep. I have this modem connected to my Eeero Mesh network and the coverage and speeds around the house are good. I recommend this device, although it is a little expensive, I hope to break even before they change the protocol.

I've had two of these now, and they both worked very well. I've gotten them provisioned on a couple of different ISPs without incident, whereas other brands of modems have caused problems with my small local ISP. (The reason I've had two was physical damage; nothing went wrong with the first one until it got crushed.)

Have this thing set up in port aggregation and it is ridiculously fast! Far more stable than the xfinity xb7 that I was using before, and not paying $15 a month for it.

Supports gig+ speed and easy to setup. Was able to hook it up within 10 mins and my Internet was back up.

I've had Netgear product that I purchased from Best Buy 3 years ago and lately my Comcast speeds increased to 1200 Mbs and my old Netgear modem had a maximum speed of 1000 Mbs so it got zapped but I had no problem with the Geeksquad Protection Plan and for me to upgrade to a faster modem they recommend the Nighthawk 32x8 DOCSIS 3.1 with speeds beyond 2k Mbs and with my protection plan I was able to updgrade which included the 4 year extended warranty plan and I was out of $8 with the warranty, speaking of great value and taking care of their customer Best Buy is the best!!

Love this modem. Works exactly as expected with Xfinity consistent speeds at around one gigabit

The modem works as advertised. I have not had issues with internet connection speeds.

Provided the hardware needed to upgrade our internet service through Cox to support giga blast. No problems with setup or operation since it's been installed.

It does what it is supposed to do. Easy to set up, I probably do not take advantage of everything it offers but it works great for what I need it to do.

Didn't want to pay the cable company monthly for a modem and this fit the bill. I'd give it a better value rating if it included a router too. It's easy to use and great speed.
