This Modem is EXCELLENT! It will pull every megabyte available from your Internet Provider that they allow through. INCREDIBLY dependable; no need for a power reset for nearly a month and is always pushing top performance. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND This Modem. The price is high, but it does pay for itself with what it can provide and dependability.

Excellent purchase. Works flawlessly. I had the arris sb8200 before and always lost connection multiple times through the day. Have not lost connection with this and it’s been a month. The arris had issues out of the box. Thought it was the router. Replaced it and still had issues. Replace the arris and haven’t had issues yet. Recommend for everyone with gigabit internet.

Internet provider will no longer be supporting my old DOCSIS 3.0 modem-- upgraded to this Nighthawk DOCSIS 3.1 - wow ... this modem smoked my old modem -highly recommended.

DOCSIS compliant cable modem with 4 Ethernet ports works great and has had no issues.

What's not to like. It works flawlessly. Only 1 output, which is what I wanted, because I purchased a powerful wifi router. So the modem stays open, but my Router is a Firewall to my LAN, with software firewalls on all my computers which are of course password protected.

Wan aggregation is having issues with this device and the SB8200 arris as well, after awhile the connection drops to 20mbps then you need to reset. Usually this occurs every 4-8hrs. If you simply disconnect the cable of one port and reconnect it is back to normal. On single port non aggregated mode the modem is flawless, operates at close to max theoretical speeds with fairly low latency.

Very good have no issues with my internet and have much faster speed

I love Netgear products. Moved from DOCSIS 3.0 to 3.1 what a difference !, my internet connection improved immediately. Be aware this modem has 4 ports for AGGREGATION, if your wireless router does not have the option you can only use 1 port, (IT'S NOT A HUB/SWITCH). If you don't have AGRREGATION capability buy the CM1000 you can save extra bucks.

Works well but internet is spotty sometimes. No way to really see where the issue is is, but it hasn’t died yet.

Good modem but unless you're going to have multiple IP addresses from your ISP, this product unnecessary for normal homes. I wish Netgear did a better job at telling you that before purchasing, like "hey, if you're going to have a small business and have multiple IP addresses coming from your ISP this is good". Still, its good product just not for single IP homes.
