Solid Cable Modem without wireless worked first time using the Xfinity app

A great modem if you have a lot of devices in your household that require a lot of bandwidth. I use. this personally to keep consistent connection to my home office, streaming music, my automation devices, my security server, and many more devices. 0 issues with bandwidth/buffering. If there is ever a problem it's usually because of my ISP itself.

Great modem for gigabit speeds. I have xfinity 1200Mbps internet and am able to take advantage of it with this modem.

Bought so we could upgrade internet speed. My wife end up buying from cable company before package came. Same model I think $20 more from cable company.

I've updated to the NEW generation Netgear modem mainly for the speed it was said to produce....and it DOES just that!!!

Had trouble in the first week after an update was done by Xfinity, but it was resolved. Other than that it's been a good modem, pricey but good.

This modem has increased speed over the internet’s subscriber monthly over priced rental issued junk. This will save you money and maybe pay for itself within a year.

This has worked extremely well. My modems from my internet provider kept causing problems, this one has had zero issues.

In a time when we are all quarantined and wasting time is nearly impossible, this modem managed to waste an entire day of mine. If you want something that is going to work? This is not for you. If you want something that was easy to deal with? This is not for you. I bought this modem from a recommendation from a friend, thinking he knew what he was talking about. He didn't. Straight out of the box there was problems. It took forever for Comcast ( I have gigabit internet through them) to set up a connection, they kept telling me it was the modem. When finally after two hours of trying it went through. That's when the real fun began. So at first, being hardwired into the modem from PC to modem, I was getting a blazing 5 mpbs. Might as well send a pigeon. Comcast kept saying there is nothing they can do on their end. I attempted to set up a google nest mesh wifi system on it. Mind you, this mesh network worked flawlessly 48 hours prior to my xfi modem going out. Well of course the google nest couldn't connect to the internet. Google told me it was the modem, comcast told me it was the modem, I'm starting to think its the modem. So naturally I open up a trouble ticket with netgear. They give you a case number and tell you to call them. Well, for 45 minutes I would call hoping to get different people, all of which told me that my case number didn't exist. I offered to forward the email from netgear showing the case number provided me, to which they denied. In the end, i just bout an arris surfboard, and within 10 minutes my whole entire network was up and running. So if you want something that works, that's your best option. Thank you netgear for making future choices for me, as I know to avoid you at all costs.

Great product that is future proof as internet companies begin to expand data transfer speeds. No issues so far.

I have tried the cm 700 and cm 1000 after I upgraded my xfinity speed to 1 gigabit none of the other models gave the full speed only the cm 1200 did

If you're looking at 1000mbs internet access you need this modem. It performs like a champ. Pair it with a Nighthawk router and you're golden!

Pulling 225 dl 11 ul ping ~8-11. Lots of bandwidth for a lot of devices.

This modem performs very well. Lots of info in the modem to provide to your Service provider when things are not working properly. Highly recommended.
