Easy to set up with Xfinity. Thought I could aggregate my WAN, but the router I purchased last year only does that on the LAN side. So that stunk. Noticeable improvement over my previous modem. 8x4 channels to 32x8 I believe. Got me slightly better then what I pay for on my service. 175 mbps to 325 mbps. Price was more then I wanted to spend but with gift cards I felt good about the purchase since everyone is home now using up the bandwidth.

A great option for a self bought (rather than renting from Comcast) fast, reliable and easy to set up modem.

Needed an upgrade because my internet provider expanded its services. Paired this baby with my nighthawk router (also by net gear) and everything is lightning fast with no connection drops. The app is very user friendly too for repairs, reboots, and updates. I always trust net gear for my internet needs, reviewed by a hardcore gamer with a house full of smart tech and 15+ devices connected at one time.

I was using an Arris Surfboard and switched to this Nighthawk. The difference is night and day. There is no issues with anything. Everything is clear and it stands with no effort. the other wouldn't stand at all but laid on its side. The speed with this thing is very nice.

It connects to the internet, so no complaints. It seems much faster than the Arris Surfboard that I had previously... before it suddenly stopped working after a year. That modem had a lot of dropped connections as well, but that seems to have stopped with the Netgear Nighthawk. I debated between this and the hybrid modem/wifi version, but I'd rather have some flexibility in upgrading my router.

The installation of this router/modem was quite easy. However I did have to spend quite a while with someone from Motorola to get it up and running. But the rep was extremely helpful and out did take only one (lengthy) call to get things operating. I have had no issues with this since installing it, unlike the Suddenlink device which I had to reset daily, sometimes mood than once. So thanks Motorola and thanks Best Buy .

For weeks, "fought" with local cable about constant dropping of internet. Several service calls, resulting in the same issue, dropped internet, several times a day. Solution: I researched and found their (Cable Company) modem used Intel Puma 6 chipset which produced the previous complaint. I bought this Nighthawk (Broadcom Chip), no issues. Works flawlessly with my Orbi. No drops or hard resets, required. Well worth it!

I recently upgraded my Xfinity Internet to 400 mbps and was told I should purchase DOCSIS 3.1 modem to get the most out of my fast internet. It is working great for us. Uploads web pages quickly.

This this is SO FAST! It will support up to a 1Gbps connection with most providers. I chose this model over the 1000 because it has 4 LAN ports on the back (2 of which you can bond, if you have the speeds to take advantage of it). After setup, it has been rock solid with no issues. You will need a separate router to manage your wifi and access restrictions. But I won't have to worry about the modem for a long time.

A very good modem, much nice alternative to the Comcast modems if you want something simple and to the point. I was able to get 1GB speed with this (~945MB) and never had a problem with it. Honestly I can't say much because it's a modem that does one thing, but it is a quality build, easy to setup and just does its one thing well. Maybe a bit pricey but it's quality.

I got lucky and found this on sale for a steal. Even at asking price it’s a fantastic, reliable modem. Both it and my router work flawlessly together for any needs (gaming, streaming, or otherwise). The product looks sleek, feels sturdy, and is easy to get up and running. If you don’t have gigabit yet but think your provider may upgrade and/or want to be prepared this is definitely worth considering. You will not be disappointed.

This cable modem is blazing fast. Just be aware that it does not support Wi-Fi by itself. It must be paired with a wireless router. That being said, it's a great modem, that was simple to install and does everything that it needs to do, very quickly.

Geek Squad installed new replacement Netgear Nighthawk Router/Modem to increase speed and security over previous model. Installation was accomplished without trouble and system was online within minutes. Modem is now operating with complementary Netgear Mesh Network to provide solid internet throughout the residence.
