Modem is very great if you are in need of a modem that can handle 1GB of internet speed.

Works very well. Performance is great. Not as easy ( or as intuitive ) to set up as the ARRIS modems. Customer service is lacking.

Set up was pretty simple. Modem helped my internet speeds.

I bought this and had to return this but this isn't a bad product. This is a future proof on your internet or even your business and it is great for any gamer if the internet company will allow you to use your own modem. It has no Wi-Fi but that is so the speed isn't slowed down for other main components such as main computers or if you are a gamer main gaming consoles.

Works great in cycles. However, just as my last NETGEAR modem, overheating is a problem. In order to stop it from losing internet strength, I am now having to run a fan on it 24/7. This modem is ten times the last NETGEAR modem I had for 10 years. The old NETGEAR modem did great for a long time considering the price. Over time it started having overheating problems which slowed or lost internet connection. Ran a fan on that one too. It finally had a chip overheating event and I had to replace. It was a good modem considering the low price and years of reliability I achieved. I thought by now, ten years later NETGEAR would have solved the overheating problems. Especially in a model that was 10 times more powerful and pricier than my last NETGEAR modem model. The overheating problem started five months after service start date. There are more connected devices than before, so to be fair that may be at issue. But overheating is inexcusable! Potentially could cause a fire! Yes, it sometimes gets that hot without fan! Fan on it 24/7! So this modem is a No for me. I’ll be replacing asap!

Got away from another local ISP and went to another and upgraded to this beauty!

We have 1g internet from Xfinity and this works very well with it.
