Did not work with my service but it is a great modem

I had Arris Surfboard and got this with high hopes!! It worked slightly better than Arris but on 02/20/20 it started to lose download channels.... I'd reboot and fine for a time. Checked cable company and no issues.,,, Not believing them I plugged Arris back in and everything has been stable since. Will be calling Netgear CS.

While the product is great. Your business practices are atrocious why you feel you need to sell customers phone numbers and email address while not TECHNICALLY ILLEGAL is very much unethical. While I have no proof. Every time I purchase from best buy I get a barrage of suspected spam calls and emails !!

Product works great no issues with the connection or wifi.

Good speed, but ports would not work. Customer Service put me on hold twice for 45 minutes and hung up on me the third time and had to start all over. Retiring and setup Aris with no issue at all.

I originally bought a NETGEAR NightHawk X4s AC3200 Wi-Fi DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem/Router from Newegg in California but it came to me from New Jersey with something broken and rattling inside the unit so I sent it back. The unit I bought from BestBuy was in perfect condition and means a lot to me. Thankyou BestBuy.

I spent hours trying to get this thing set up and despite having multiple (4) ports, it appears to only be able to handle one at a time! I couldn't hook up my security, home network, and micro-cell separately, I had to route it all through the home network and connect that to the modem.

I called Spectrum and was up and running in minutes!

This modem is the last netgear product ill purchase. The modem itself has many flaws, a quick google search shows these things die in a year or less, and to those thinking oh theres a years warrenty, thats a full on lie. The products warrentied for a year but to get serviced has to be in 30 DAYS, otherwise to get the modem serviced youll have to pay 210$ to netgear for the gearhead support, to make a simple warrenty claim. Phone supports also complete trash. This is rediculous and on all netgear products. Do yourself a favor, burn your netgear products and get a moterola mb8600 instead. Save yourself the headache and do your research.

This is a Awesome device but when I connect a router to the modem it wont work unless you change your DNS address. After changing the DNS address then nothing else would connect to the modem. Vise versa, if you dont change the DNS the. Anything that isnt a router would work. Unless I'm wrong, but that's how it works for me.

It does as it should but caution... I had so many issues setting up because I started by connecting this modem directly to my pc via Ethernet first instead of my router and it refused to connect to my router until I factory reset. No one on any customer support line could help me with this.

I bought this and Spectrum really disappoint. Its built for their system. They wouldn't reprovision it. I tried masking the MAC address. Nothing worked. Best Buy again excellent customer service and was able to return. Contact you internet provider first to avoid the hassle I had.

I am not an expert on stuff like this. My wifi will tell me I have no internet connection at times, but I think it’s a problem with suddenlink. I believe that there is nothing wrong with my modem. When everything is working properly it’s awsome!!

A little slow/weak coverage for my 2,400 sqft home. I have wifi cameras and some other devices. Its 2 bars but then again where its located is not centered
