Great product but it was over priced for what I need for (increase my fire stick download time) and I was having to many issues with Xfinity setting it up on my account so I returned it.

The Netgear modem has been a staple for my family for years. When we upgraded to this model we experienced much better and stronger network in our home. This model helps make sure we are getting the maximum network strength to our mesh network that we are paying for.

Multi gig modem with multiple outputs that support link aggregation. If you have a router that also supports this feature you can break the 1 gig barrier by linking 2 outputs into the router.

The reason why I’m giving only 4 stars is because I havent tried it yet. I’m still going to upgrade my wifi to xfinity because AT&T sucks.. Anyway, the package was safely packed and everything is there inside. I can’t wait to set it up! I’ll update my review once I set it up.

Great customer service & way better warranty than Netgear. Netgear was AWEFUL to work with & basically no long warranty to back their products & very hard to understand. Go with this brand--much better!!

It's a Nighthawk......it is one of the best brands and models around. Luckily I have the CM1000 that didn't need to be replaced.

There is no doubt buying a separate router and modem is the best choice. Integrated modem routers have many draw backs that you can read about. In terms of quality and technology, this is one of the best but its expensive.

This modem has 4 Ethernet ports, but only 1 port works at a time. I called their costumer service (they have the worst costumer service by the way), and they told me the same thing that only 1 port works at the time.. I didn't get it why making 4 ports then? and why not making it clear to everyone before purchasing! I'm going to return it, not worth it!

The description is a little misleading. You can’t use the rear ports as a router unless you have business class internet to support multiple IP addresses. At least that is what I was told. Other than needing a separate router for that I’ve had no issues.

It connects without problems but I would like greater access to its performance characteristics. You can’t get to the management console easily because it is a different network and when you can get to it you are not provided with any useful data.

I followed the instructions, but after rechecking the steps I gave up and had to call my cable company. Turns out they had to do a reset all along. So Dave yourselves some time. Plug it in, and then call your cable company. Don’t try anything on your own.

We had an older Surfboard because we were told that was what we had to have for personal equipment to work with Comcast instead of leasing their equipment. This seems to work fine with our service. Glad to have more options today.

Netgear advertises that you can plug a laptop and a router into this modem; nope! It can only serve internet to 1 device at a time via port aggregation (using 2 ports for 1 device to double the speed). This means at most, you can only use 2 ports in the back of the modem. They say their engineers are working on enabling the other ports.. They shouldn't release a product that doesn't have the software to support it yet. To find this out, I had to wait on hold for over an hour to talk to someone at Netgear. I was number 64 in their phone queue! That's TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Ditching Netgear products all together.

Great Modem, internet has been more stable since replacing my old modem. This does support LAG to increase throughput to one connected device. The setup on this can take a bit to setup, but if you read the directions, it should be pretty simple
