I was looking for this modem and thought I was lucky as there was one finally available from Bestbuy. I drove almost an hour to pick it in store. It was opened box when I got it. I wanted to try it since it is difficult to find. I tested using an existing line and the modem seemed working initially. It took some time to schedule and reschedule the cable company to route the line to my home. Once I hooked it up at the new line, it kept dropping off and needs reboot from to time to time. The ethernet ports seems also not working when I tried to use two ethernet ports for Wifi. I lost my patience eventually and decided to returned it, but was told I missed the 15 days window allowed by Bestbuy return policy. I bought a different model from Costco and it seems working fine. And the return policy is 90 days at Costco. No I am stuck with the broken equipment which is too expensive to throw away.

Top notch just make sure it works with your provider. Would also be nice if Netgear would of told me to notify Comcast of new modem after a three hour trouble shoot session on the phone. But figured out!

Netgear Nighthawk Modem works very well. This device helps deliver a very powerful Wifi signal throughout our house.

get the full speed of my current service provider but better values are out there if you don't have gig service. also capable for advanced users you have good knowlege of trunking and multi gig needs

I had to contact tech support for my separate router to complete setup.

It was easy to install and easy to operate. It's only complaint I have the package didn't include the cable to connect from wall into the modem. I have to purchase it separately.

So far good. Had to re-boot couple of times in 2 months. couldn't see more than 800 MBPS even though my plan is 1GBPS. May be my ISP provider issue.

Returned all of my cable company equipment and have not had a problem since love my router

I like this modem, it has 4 ports with the netgear router you can have a secondary connection, which helps when you have several devices streaming at the same time.

Purchased for use on CableOne/Sparklight services, only to find out that they do not offer support of this device. With other cable internet providers this would be an awesome device.

Misleading product, as i thought this would be a combo Modem/Router for the price but the product works well for intended purpose.

This modem was the hardest modem ever to set up. However, i ranked it a 3 star only because it is extremely fast.

This cable modem seemed to improve the speed of my network. The cable speed tests were much improved and takes full advantage of the speed that I'm subscribed to.

Great modem and dead silent, I had the Comcast modem/router combo and that thing was way too loud.

I had to purchase this to get "full Internet Speeds". My speeds did m ot change, but upload and downloads are smoother. 24x8 was what was advised, this allows room to grow.
