    As mentioned by another reviewer here, and many in the netgear forum, this modem is not able to maintain speeds with link aggregation set up. It runs at full 1 gbps+ speed for a couple of hours, then drops off dramatically into the 20 - 30 mbps range. Completely unacceptable as link agg is an advertised feature. After incredibly long hold times, Netgear customer support was unable to help. Definitely disappointing, as I had hoped pairing a netgear Cm1200 to a Netgear RAX120 would be a fast piece of cake. Also, in my case, the cm1200 continued to have speed drop offs even after disabling link agg on the modem and router. Since there hadn't been an issue with the cm1200 before enabling link agg, it certainly adds a layer of frustration.

    I didn't go wrong when choosing this modem. Has 3.1 DOCSIS so no need to upgrade anytime soon.

    Bought for the 4 LAN ports on the back so I could hard wire 3 external devices. When I hooked them up, it didn't work. I called their customer service tech support and was told those LANs are not for hard wiring devices. Wish it said this in the specs.

    My old Netgear had started giving connectivity issues, so I upgraded to this modem. I'm using Google Nest router and connectivity is very good and no speed or disconnection issues. However, I cannot connect another device to the modem. Basically all my wall ethernet ports are dead. I tried resetting it a few times and reached out to xfinity but no luck. Apparently there is an issue with Netgear modems when Nest routers are used. Expected a better product for $200

    Get some buffering when streaming live TV but I have read that is the router.
