    This model was certified to work with Comcast/Xfinity. Later it was updated on Netgear's website that it's only certified up to 800 Mbps. This will not work with gigabit+ Internet plans on Xfinity.

    The modem delivered great speeds and performed its job at a very comfortable temperature. Unfortunately, the modem lasted just over six months before it failed. It was connected to an uninterrupted power supply for power and had the incoming coax filtered through a power conditioner, I’m very confident this one is on the manufacturer. I’ve never had a problem with Netgear products before and am highly disappointed.

    It’s not the worst modem but every time you bump it slightly it would drop an upstream channel or downstream channel until it was restarted. So ultimately I had to return it and I ended up buying a Motorola which I like very much.

    For the most part it worked good with some latency issues. The last 3 months it kept dropping and the last 2 weeks it wouldn't work for a day and then its fine but today it quit working all together. Tried resetting, using an old modem to see if it was the router, all the things etc. For the price I would absolutely not recommend.
