Upgraded from modem/router combo unit due to the multiple users at home during quarantine. Just what the doctor ordered when combined with a separate router.

A Best Buy sales person recommended this one to me. Wasn't the cheapest but surely a good one that would last me a long time.

I purchased this so I could cut the cord, but unfortunately this does not work for AT&T cable. This checked all other boxes and had good reviews.

Wanted to stop renting a modem and this was the recommendation as we had a set of wifi routers. Doing great so far! No issues.

Improvement over CM1000 purchased a few years back. The CM1200 produces faster wifi and picture quality of streaming video better. Old one destroyed in lightning storm.

The statement about the 4 Gigabit ports sounds like they can be used on the same network, they can not. So I paid extra for 3 ports I can't use without special router. Speed is unreliable. Incoming speed 30% higher than I am paying for yet this modem is often about 25% slower than am I paying for. Not much help from tech support either.

I am switching internet providers and have not used it yet. I don’t think I’ll have many complaints tho. I will update the review once I start using it.

Ideal replacement for your ISP gateway! Works very well in place of my Xfinity rental.

Originally got this product online but when I went to pick it up in the store they had the higher unit on sale for the same price.

Best Buy rep recommended this product for my home system .I believe I got a great product at a very competitive price. Service was very good!

I bought this in January and it wasn’t working anymore by October of the same year. It was a good modem while it lasted, I’ve never had a modem quit working on me, let alone in under a year. I was so certain it was not the modem I had my ISP come out and check all the wires and connections to make sure. I was thinking it was on their end and their servers keep kicking my internet off or something like that. It just didn’t make any sense. Then I did some research and found out that plenty of people were having problems with this modem, IN UNDER A YEAR. IT’S A MODEM BRUH. I was so convinced there wasn’t something wrong with the modem (we just moved into the house and it was working without issue before) that I just ended up figuring it out because I didn’t know what else it could even be. I used to think Netgear made fine stuff, but man am I sticking with Arris after this. I’ll say it again, it’s a modem. They’ve been getting made for awhile, and this is one of the highest end modems!! And with Orbi having fake mesh wifi but still advertised as just the same mesh wifi as something like Eero? This was the final steak in the coffin for me, at least for their modem and router equipment. I’ve used Netgear switches and I think they’re fine and have never caused me issues. I know a lot about technology so if you do too and are reading this review I am trying to warn you not to by this. When I replaced my modem with Arris I have had zero problems, when I was dropping internet every hour or so before, and waiting for about 5 separate boot cycles before it would FINALLY detect internet.

This modem has been in service for a little over a year. I have had no issues up until recently. It will disconnect and say it doesnt have internet. I reset it expecting it to reconnect and nothing changes. This is leading me to believe that the modem is going bad after only a year. I will more than likely not be buying another netgear product any more. And will be going with Motorola.

So far so good, nice throughput to the Orbi Wi-Fi router for 4 connected people and and a house full of IOT

Great item I added this to a google nest system. It has a auto reset function if the internet drops

This thing is a beast. Multi band is a plus especybif you have devices using older technology. Has very long range. Can stream multiple 4k videos at once.

Wonderful not to pay rental fee to the cable company anymore,

Bought this to get away from the monthly rental fee for the local provider. Dont regret it at all!

It was easy to setup. However, Spectrum only uses a portion of its actual potential. I recommend using CAT 6a or CAT 7 cable; it's noticeable.
